    Exceptional place to stay.

Exceptional place to stay. We had a warm welcome, really great helpful staff. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. We has such a fantastic time, and wonderful comfortable bed, very relaxing. Everything was high quality including our breakfast ( lovely bright breakfast room with super views). Easily one of the best (actually, probably the best!) Place we ever stayed. Highly recommended, many thanks

We have visited Inverness three times now, but this was our first stay in Nairn. The beach is very welcoming with plenty of space to walk, run, play and enjoy the views; this is the kind of beach I would visit and walk along every day if I lived there. Located close nearby are various historical places to visit (Cawdor Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns) and Inverness is not far away. Not being much of a "city person" I love to wake up to views and fresh air -- and Nairn offers places like the Invernairne Hotel that enable you to do that and still visit so much nearby.

Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness.

Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness. The beach was lovely to stroll along, as was the canal. Lots of restaurants dotted around town. An amazing ice cream shop located in park near the beach is worth seeking out. The architecture of some areas was stunning old Edwardian homes, really enjoyed wandering around the streets looking at them.

Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first. Their volunteers are helpful and have first hand knowledge of the history of the town. I recommend having a car to travel to sites around Nairn that are too far to walk.

Nairn is a very nice town except for the High St which like most in Scotland is suffering at present. However nice to remember the old shops closed now Mackays grocer, Rose Brothers, Gauls toy shop Heards Morgantis to name a few, Nice to see Pat Fraser is still there. Recommend the Classroom at the top of the High Street to eat. Very easy to walk around and nice walks at the river.

Washington House is the best B&B we’ve ever had the immense pleasure of staying in. We were greeted with a warm welcome, the house is beautiful and our room was lovely and spotless. Aileen and Arthur are truly wonderful hosts; Arthur’s breakfasts were nothing short of delectable and were, along with his morning chats with us, amongst the highlights of our memorable holiday in Scotland. We couldn’t recommend Washington House highly enough.

Everything. Location was fabulous. Wonderful & beautiful beach on your door step. Hotel was very clean and our room was lovely. The atmosphere was very relaxed and out hosts were so welcoming and fun. And nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast, which was excellent, was served in a beautiful sunny dining room with beautiful sea views. I would highly recommend The Invernairne. And will definitely be back

Room was light and airy. Big windows thag you can open. Had separate lounge area and bedroom, both areas are nice and clean, carpets looked new or had been cleaned and kept well compared to say a premier inn hotel so I didn't feel uncomfortable putting my bare feet on the carpets. Fridge in room a bonus so was able to keep drinks cold. Bathroom again was clean with 2 large towels to use, bath mat.

Location of the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was extremely good and included a vegetarian option. It was served by two waiters and one waitress each morning who were professional, friendly and very helpful. A credit to the hotel. All the staff we encountered were in fact very friendly. We hope to return.

The house has a great location not far from the port and the sea and in a street with restaurants and shops. A supermarket and petrol stations where a few minutes drive away. It is near attraction such as Fort George and driving to Inverness and Loch Ness was easy too. The Kitchen and house were well stocked.

Everything was perfect. So much thought & warmth from Sharon & Greg on design and decor. They gave me lots of information on local area too. The north east coast of Scotland is so beautiful & tranquil and still have convenience of lots of tourist attractions, restaurants and lovely boutique shops.

The People. Paul, Charlotte, Mary, and the entire team at Bandstand were terrific. They made us feel at home whether it was in the restaurant, bar, or with our lodging. My buddy and I a great time in Nairn as a whole, but The Bandstand was a highlight of the entire week spent in Scotland.

The location of the property was ideal for us, in that we were next to the grass area around the bandstand, perfect for our dogs. It was very easy to park our car, at no cost, very close to the property. This was ideal for us traveling to all the wonderful facilities in Nairn.
