We stayed in the cottage and it was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Tea, coffee and milk were all provided and housekeeping attended daily.
The breakfasts were scrumptious as were the other meals we took in the restaurant.
The staff were so obliging and extremely helpful. The breakfast manager even gave us tips on where to go and places to see

The Woolpack Inn is a short drive away from Chichester train station which was perfect as we arrived on a Sunday evening. We received a warm and friendly reception and were promptly checked in. Once settled, we enjoyed a lovely drink and were able to take in the surroundings, my friend and I both agreed that the place had a good vibe.
The Woolpack Inn itself is deceptively large with lots of seating areas, lovely decor and fresh flowers on each table. It is tastefully decorated and has a really chilled out ambiance. There is also a large family beer garden out back which was great for the warm weather.
We were fortunate to attend the open mic night the following evening, we met some lovely people and enjoyed it so much that we were already planning our next trip down!
The room I stayed in was nice and spacious, there was a fan, a heater, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Another plus was that there was a water cooler just down the hallway so we had ice water literally on tap - this was a godsend as during our stay the weather was lovely and warm.
I had an endless supply of clean towels and the cleaners came each day, so the room was beautifully clean on my return from a long day of learning. My only gripe was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, but I think they left all the toiletries in my friend’s room next door!
Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay at the Woolpack Inn. The people running the place are so welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay there perfect. My friend and I are gutted that we’re going to miss the next open mic night!

We came to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday and he chose this location as he wanted to do some surfing with his brother. The weather was good enough for the short period of time we were there. We had an Indian takeaway the first night and went to Drifters for a meal on the second night. The food was lovely from both.
