Breakfast was delicious. Amazingly cooked. Staff could not do enough to help!
I felt very safe as a lone female staying by myself.
Check in was really easy. The room was very well equipped and the extra touches, such as tea, coffee, water were lovely.
If the weather had been better, I definitely would have gone to explore the beautiful grounds.

The shower did not work & had to cancel clients in the morning. I was moved to another room yet lost 2 hours packing, dealing with the situation.
I did write to the manager yet received no response.

A short distance away are some terrific places to visit, including Box Hill and Polesden Lacey, two National Trust areas that provide awesome hiking and areas to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

The hotel was very cold, including corridors and public areas. There was a fireplace with plenty of wood, but nobody had made a fire, which would have been very welcome!!
The room was extremely cold and the handrail in the bathroom only heated up half way, the other part was stone cold.

We stayed in a country manor house completely surrounded by fields and public pathways. Great location for those who like to explore the countryside. We did not make it into town, but driving through it looked lovely and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of Dorking. Would go back again.
We had meals in Wotton Hatch Pub, and Abinger Hatch Pub - delicious food and very friendly staff. Both beautiful country pubs and well worth a visit.

Very people friendly ❤️
The hotel is set in a wonderfully quiet location with only the sound of nature outside. Wonderful walks, although a little muddy in March.
Our room was lovely and clean, the beds and linen are luxurious and comfortable plus the bathroom had recently been renovated.
The staff (especially the breakfast maître d') were amazing, friendly, and very professional.
The hotel has a wonderful old-world charm with beautiful decor. We loved being there and enjoying walks, local pubs, and the spa area for 2 days.
Such a pretty location and the outdoor is amazing.Staff were trying their best but very understaffed.
Food not great but you get what you pay for and it’s very reasonable here.
Had a lovely room but other family members had a privilege room which was even better so if you can afford the extra I would suggest this.Great place for kids they loved the pool and box hill.
Dorking high street 5 min drive is lovely and some great restaurants there
Chart House is an absolutely adorable place. Jill is a lovely and amazing host. I loved everything about this stay. I was attending the Dorking Wanderers v York City game so I hope we are both in the same division next season so I can return !
The town centre is only 5 minutes walk away and Dorking is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and drink.
I look forward to my next visit. Highly recommend.
The staff were extremely accommodating. The room was comfortable, our shower didn’t work, but someone came to fix that right away. The food was good. The pool is heated and has a lifeguard.
The surrounding area is great for nature lovers. Great walk/hike just behind the hotel, endless fun for the kids. It’s very out of the way, therefor we needed to take a taxi from Gatwick. Well maintained property.
The hotel looks fabulous and is situated in beautiful grounds. The restaurant is good as are the leisure facilities. However, what made our stay was the outstanding service from every staff member. From the helpful and friendly staff, at check in, the restaurant, the bar and the maintenance staff we ended up chatting to. They made our stay!
Maggie was very welcoming and on hand, without being obtrusive, to help answer questions and give advice about Dorking’s attractions. The breakfast was outstanding. I wouldn’t think you would find better in this area.
The location of the hotel is very quant and in a very pretty area. The pub offered a great variety of food, we had both dinner and breakfast and both meals were great. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful.
Convenient location and impressive hotel and grounds. Nice lounge/relaxing areas and good quality breakfast with excellent service. Ample parking. Rooms clean and modern, Quality Moulton Brown toiletries.
The vineyard is beautiful, the hotel is small and lovely, the food in the main restaurant was delicious and well-presented. We were on our honeymoon and they were quite generous to us.
Beautifully renovated apartment. Incredible view. Very spacious and comfortable. Great location easy walk to the high street and the train station. Would recommend highly to anyone
