Comfortable king bed. The location was excellent and was near numerous shops and restaurants.

Great location, beautiful property, amazing views, comfortable beds, quiet space, delicious breakfast! The absolute highlight, however, was the staff and David in particular. David proved how wonderful he was before we even arrived by calling to make sure we were okay when we were running a few hours late from when we said we’d be there. He then went above and beyond for our entire stay, providing recommendations, suggesting new Scottish beers/whisky based off what we had already ordered and liked (and was doing the same for other guests’ gin preferences), and generally being a delightful person to talk to. We learned so much about Oban and Scotland just by chatting with him! We will definitely be back!

I am not a natural complainer but there was one aspect of this stay which was unacceptable and that has affected my usual excellent response to your enquiry. I had purchased as a birthday gift a single room stay for a friend and there was NO WIFI in the room she was allocated. She complained and everyone was very helpful but she was still unable to communicate with friends, using WhatsApp and could only use her phone in the corridor outside her room.
