Good comfy beds with a decent size room. Quiet location with onsite free parking. Only place I will stay when travelling this way! Restaurant food is lovely but a bit pricey.

I booked in as a single traveller, initially I was put in the annexe which was like a prison cell, I approached reception and complained I was the moved to a proper room in the hotel which was lovely. But I had to pay 10.00 extra for the upgrade.
Set in a converted bakery, this hotel has an on-site bar which serves real cask ales and features a working mill wheel and oak beams.

This is a very interesting property with lots of old world features, the water wheel still turning and the general theme of the pub was excellent. Food was good and the staff excellent. The room cost was very reasonable. Breakfast included in the price.
The local area is very nice and we walked along the Ashby de la Zouch canal which was nice.

Handy location. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and comfortable, quiet room. I have stayed previously, but some years ago now. I will go again.
