Loved the grounds and sitting out on the garden sofas surrounded by beautiful flowers. The access to the performance centre with the swimming lake for open water swimming and golf was fantastic. Special thanks to James on reception who was welcoming and very helpful.

A beautiful stately building in lovely grounds.
At reception we were invited to be seated whilst we booked in. We were given a free upgrade on our room. The room itself was lovely. Hotel staff members were warm and friendly.

Staff friendly and food very good. Felt it was a bit dear, given it's age, but I presume it was because of the location. It is ready for some updating as there's evidence that some areas are looking tired. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our evening meal was delicious and my husband very much enjoyed his full English breakfast.

Heyford House is beautiful, with lovely gardens. We'd booked two rooms, and they were very in keeping with the property, but also had refitted bathrooms. Breakfast was served in the dinning room, and it was a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Our son had bought my wife a 'Drive a Fire Engine' experience and we decided to stay overnight. That part of the trip was excellent. The centre was pleasant and clean. There were plenty of charity shops (a plus) and pubs to eat in. We chose the Penny Black in town (for drinks & breakfast) and The Acorn for a meal. At The Acorn, the staff were particularly friendly and the steaks were great.
Coles Bookshop was brilliant - could've spent a fortune.
Unless you're REALLY interested in clothes, the Village is a waste of time cos there are mostly clothes shops and it took us twenty minutes to have a wander round and then leave.

We wanted to visit the Bicester Shopping Village hence the road trip from Halifax to the area.
Stopped at the Holiday Inn overnight, basic facilities but okay for the one night, watch out for the £5 parking charge plus the PodPoint chargers aren’t free here unlike the Best Westerns.
The shopping village is definitely worth a visit, plenty of shops although quite a few are the usual chains but we enjoyed the experience.
We didn’t manage to get into Bicester itself as it was raining and a bit miserable weather-wise but I’ve been there years ago and its its worth a visit especially if you are keen on photography, plenty to see and do, overall worth breaking your journey for a visit

Stayed in Bicester, a lovely town, as it was close to the Silverstone Circuit for the F1 British Grand Prix, being only 30 minutes away. Great place for expensive outlet shopping.
Easy to reach Oxford by train or car.

The town is quiet and good for a restful weekend and shopping at luxury and sports brands. I enjoyed visiting the large number of shops at Bicester village, Bicester shopping park and there's a Tesco superstore - these three locations are within walking distance.
There are a few restaurant options as well for food.
There. AGAIN. The ROOM'S I WILL NEVER STAY . IN Room s. They. HAVE. BLOOD. STAINED. IM. THE. MATTRESS. AND A CLEANER TWO MAIDS AND CHANGE THE MATTERS ES IN THE RECEIPION AT THE FRONT DESK A VERY VERY NICE GUY AND HE IS EXTREMELY BUSY AND HARD WORKING AS HE DOES ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING IN THE 18 ROOMS OF THE HOTEL ALWAYS ON HIS TOES HE WORKS HARD BUT HE SHOULDN'T BE THE ONLY ONE DOING THIS BOOKING, AND THEN MAKING BEDS AT THE SAME TIME THIS IS WRONG THE ESTABLISHMENT SHOULD HAVE ONE
The house was clean and tidy, hosts made sure we had all the information needed to get there. There was always a parking space in the front of the house available. Location itself was good, close to the Bicester Village, and also about 10min walk from the town centre. Kitchen had more than enough utensils, cutlery and crockery for 3 adults and 2 kids to stay. Host was responsive to solve the issues that arose during our stay. Cot bed was provided for our stay. Overall a lovely 3 bedroom house in a nice countryside town.
What a lovely B&B Lionsgate is, in a great location for Bicester Village Outlet (5 minutes walk) and Town Centre for food at night (5 minutes also.)
Lionsgate was clean, bright and airy, beautifully decorated throughout and a spacious bedroom and en-suite. Kerrie has thought of everything, even down to phone charger, which I had forgotten. Water, tea coffee, biscuits, ear plugs (🙂) etc in room.
Breakfast was good, parking on-site...a real must if looking for somewhere to stay in Bicester. Thank you Kerrie.
The owners have restored this historic house to the highest expectations of quality and care for preservation of a piece of history. The interior design shows care and respect for the integrity for an architectural gem. Everything has been restored with respect for the nature of the building. Hats of the the owners and to the team they have assembled to restore the building to its former glory and to the pleasant staff managing the hotel. We hope to return.
I booked this room last minute as my BF and I were travelling and decided to stay the night in Bicester as it was on our drive route.
Great location 5 mins from the town centre
Close to Bicester Village shopping outlet
Very clean
But for us the stay was made by the welcoming and accommodating staff, we couldn’t have felt more looked after.
Abed works extremely hard and is the nicest friendliest person.
Thank you again
Would highly recommend!
Well what can I say an absolutely beautiful hotel in a lovely village yet on minutes away from Bicester - just perfect 😍 my daughter and I stayed for a night … a little girly get away and got upgraded to the Blenheim suite and that was just WOW!! Amazing food and lovely staff topped off a magical stay that we won’t forget - thank you 😍
Hotel is on new industrial estate, very nice and fresh looking. Very easy to find when you Google the location and not use the location on booking.com
Good selection on evening food, however a little on the expensive side. Pints were a decent price, and a lovely IPA on tap
Really close to the shopping outlet and other shops
It’s a nice, quaint local hotel. Very nice gardens, a nice bar and plenty of parking. A great location for exploring Bicester on foot and really close to the Outlet Village. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much bother. Places like this need using post COVID to keep them alive.
The staff were very friendly and the evening meal in the dining area was lovely fresh and we'll cooked. Good choice of food and drinks on menu and at the bar. The hotel main areas and room was cleanand spotless. Breakfast was simple but just enough. Great location near the Bicester Village
The hotel was really nice and clean and the room was perfect, couple little finishing touches in the bathroom needs done but perfect otherwise. Lovely view from the Juliette balcony. It’s about a 5 minute drive to Bicester Shopping Village.
Pool and spa area was very nice with large Windows to the golf course. Hotel rooms were large and bathroom modern. Good selection of food at the breakfast. Both cold and war dishes. Hotel locates near the Bicester outlet village.
Room was clean and recently decorated, if a little small. Hotel was opposite a pub serving good and inexpensive meals. Bus stop (for Oxford or Bicester Village, for example) was just over the road. Area was quiet over night.
Stayed in this convenient property in order to have multiple visits to Bicester Village. It is just few easy minutes walk. Highly recommend it for the same purpose.
