We booked last minute so not the cheapest, but I can forgive the hotel for that. Otherwise great, especially the staff. Also vibe and feel of the place was nicer than the images online convey. Adjacent, connected family rooms were brilliant.

Breakfast was more than poor, it was miserable. Few items, and of poor quality. No reposition when items were finished. Very disappointing.

Good to spend a few days there as it is located in a rather remote area. The breakfast, although a good quality, is the same every day without any variation.

Prerry dull town, for 2 days I did not see any good reason to visit it. All beaches are quite far away from the center, and only thing you can do is eating out. Little shades / greenery, in the daytime the center is just one huge traffic jam. There are much more interesting spots in Corsica you should spend your time for.

We Flew in to Figari and hired a car from Hertz terrible wait to get the damn thing. Drive to Lecci where we stayed at Villa Lantana was not difficult. Port in Porto Vecchio was interesting for a quick visit, Old town worth a visit and have a drink in the square, plenty of car parks not hugely expensive.
We drove around the island quite a lot 1300Km and loved the mountains, Zonza was interesting and there was a book on Cosica Sud in English that we picked up free. The Megalithes de Cauria are worth a visit just off the T40 on the way to Sartene.
L`Alivi was a lovely restaurant just outside Porto Vecchio we had a good meal there it was very popular and not overly expensive
Calvi was very special we ate in the port.
Bastia less so and L`ille Rousse difficult to park so we didn't see it.
Bonifacio is worth a visit parking is expensive there use Car park 5

The old parts of the town are stunning, the restaurants really welcoming and friendly.
The beaches are difficult to find on foot, and the commercial area north of the oldtown is just a series of strip malls that could be anywhere.
Public transport to get to Figari airport is almost non-existent and it is very hard to figure out timetables etc.

A week is enough time to spend in Porto-Vecchio.
A week is enough time to spend in Porto-Vecchio. It has a truly lovely selection of beaches but not too many restaurants. Unfortunately our airline also cancelled our original return flight back & we had to extend our trip by 3 days we hadn't planned for. Not the worst place in the World to be stuck in by a long shot but it did get a bit boring with nothing new or diverse to do for 10 days.

Great beaches - plenty of choice but try to get out to them early as parking nearby can be an issue. The Cavu rock pools near Zonza were a great local day trip & Bonifacio is also a great whole-day trip well worth a visit. Not especially great food options for eating out but we were self-catering so it didn't impact our trip too much.

Porto Vecchio is very well placed for both sea and mountain...
Porto Vecchio is very well placed for both sea and mountain experience. It is close to the best beaches in Corsica (Rondinara, Santa Julia, Palombaggia) to the most scenic small town (Bonifacio) and is served by a nearby airport (Figari) and a ferry harbour. I am a diver and the nearby Cerbical islands are excellent diving destinations, less known than Lavezzi but with the same rich biodiversity and less wind and currents.
Located in a beautiful place, so that from the balcony you see both mountains and the sea. People running the hotel (who are one big family essentially) were very helpful, we had no car and they were driving us to various locations (for a price much cheaper than taxi there). And generally they were very nice. Facilities in the villa were great, good kitchen and appliances, nice balcony, conditioner, wi-fi, relaxing jacuzzi, all was great! Beach is quite close (10 mins walk), with very clean and pleasant water.
The bed was extremely comfortable and being able to use the black-out shutters was a plus! We stayed in the penthouse suite and it was amazing!! Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. The area was really nice with so many options for food and activities. Our view was also beautiful. We also loved that the reception was so responsive. Each time we had a question, they responded quickly! The hotel itself is clean and is a gorgeous, modern and luxury property. We had a really great stay! Very comfortable!
The hotel is very nice, very clean, the staff - from the reception, to the bar, to the room maintenance staff - is absolutely lovely, extremely positive, accommodating and truly a pleasure to interact with. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, overseeing the swimming pool, a little lake and the sea. Everything we needed was promptly provided (from unlimited filtered water, to beach towels and umbrella, iron, etc.) and we had an absolutely great stay.
Amazing staff, extremely friendly, very helpful and pleasant. The room was beautiful with a terrace overlooking the sea and the location of the hotel was amazing, in the heart of the port. The food was excellent and I enjoyed every minute in that beautiful hotel
- Location
- room very nice and bed very comfortable
- privat parking
- coffee in the room
A very special thank you to the wonderful lady at the reception at our arrival, she gave us such a worm welcome and saved our day. A best *visit card* for the hotel!
The staff were incredibly helpful and nice.
The room was very clean and had nice amenities and an incredible view. We liked the privacy of the terrace.
The hotel is well located.
The food selection at breakfast and at La table de Mina was exceptional.
Quiet and relaxing complex, small but practical apartments. 5 mins walk to lovelly beach but overcrowded in August, 10 mins drive to Porto Vecchio for bars and restaurants.
It's a new hotel, with very modern, spacious rooms and great facilities. It's close (by car) to many nice beaches, and approx. 20min walk from Porto Vecchio old town
Great location, very calm and relaxed, and a great view of Porto-Vecchio. All is perfect to enjoy a great moment, the jacuzzi, the breakfast and the service.
