It felt brand new the rooms were spotless as in all fairness was the whole hotel and having the on site parking was a bonus although a bit trumpy at €30 a night.
The ibis Saint-Malo Madeleine offers free Wi-Fi, free on-site parking and a large outdoor terrace with a covered seating area and heaters.

We always stay here when we are catching the day ferry to the UK. It is a convenient drive to the port, and saves a very early departure from home in central Brittany. You can also do last-minute shopping and fill up the car in the adjacent Madeleine retail park.
It's a good better-than-basic hotel. I have mobility issues, and they have well appointed rooms for PMRs, and a lift to the upper floors and to the Buffalo Grill.
Staff are friendly and have personality! Parking is very easy and free.

Location is amazing and having parking inside intra-muros under the hotel is so convenient! We will definitely stay here again.
Also a lot of reviews are complaining about the parking being tight but it is going to be tight in such a location, and with my quite large car I found it much easier then I had expected.
