Our room was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for visiting the town. The staff were lovely and gave us a really warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We reserved a secure parking space and it was really straightforward and well worth the small extra cost.

The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit.
The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit. Lots of interesting architecture and local culture to explore. There is quite a big street market held once or twice a week. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. A very welcoming tourist destination.

The town is beautiful.
The town is beautiful. There are many shops, and beautiful architecture everywhere you look. There are some of the finest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The people everywhere are very friendly and everyone seems happy. It was like walking around in a painting. It was unforgettable.

Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings.
Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings. Nice bars and restaurants. We found opening times of restaurants and shops unpredictable. Enough to do for a few days. Nice river trip and prebooked taxi from airport was convenient.

So many things to see and do in the area.
So many things to see and do in the area. Bordeaux and Burgundy get lots of press for their wines. The surrounding vineyards of the Bergerac region are superb and accessible. They wine you sample ranges from good to out of this world; the stories you hear at each vineyard are full of the passion the people convey about their work and the results.
In addition, the cultural sites were fun with many to choose from. Our only concern is that we traveled in early October. Some sites change or close at that time. Their websites weren't up to date so we showed up to several only to find them closed for the season.

Beautiful small old town in SW France.
Beautiful small old town in SW France. No hustle and bustle of a large city which made for a very relaxing stay. Close to numerous wineries and other destinations for a day visit. There is ample parking very close to the town centre (400+ places, and free!). Park the car and walk! Highly recommend this picturesque town and neighbouring region for a short visit.
Silvie and Jean Marie are remarkable hosts! They have anticipated travellers every need. I love Bergerac is the most wonderful B&B we have ever experienced. They have traveled extensively and decorated the home with fabulous pieces of art. Each room has a theme and is decorated accordingly. The breakfast table allowed us to visit with both our hosts and other travelers while enjoying coffee, juice, croissants, bread cheese and ham, yogurt and various toppings. It was a delightful experience and we were very sad to have to leave.
This cosy, little studio, is perfect for a single person. It has all what you need, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom. It's located right on the river, so you just have to walk out of the building to see the most stunning sunsets. It's also located in the old town, so walking distance from the "beach", quay and other attractions. The host was super accommodating and let me leave my luggage when I arrived earlier. Made my stay in Bergerac even more enjoyable, thank you!
Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town, under 4 minutes walk from FREE parking. Perfect situation to enjoy numerous restaurants, we counted 8 within 200m. Apartment is extremely comfortable with good quality furnishings and all essentials for our stay. Very comfortable bed, good heating if required on cooler nights. Our host Sophie in good communication before during and after our stay. HIGHLY recommended accommodation right in the centre of Bergerac.
Hotel newly built. Location for walking around good BUT almost impossible to get there with the car to unload. The guest I traveled is handicaped. They gave her a room at the top - even so the lady showed them the hadicap ID. The stairs are so small - no elevator or help with suitcase. Breakfast - not good at all. The staff not there or not speaking any of the common languages - French, English etc. Cannot recommend this hotel
Our hosts were delightful and the accommodation superb. If you are looking for exceptional facilities in Bergerac that is close to the city centre but in a green environment this is the place for you. The house is situated near a large green park with lake a few minutes walk away. Parking is safe and secure and the pool area and garden lovely. It would suit couples, adult groups or families. We highly recommend the villa.
Our room was very comfortable, spacious and furnished in a lovely French style. This is a family home and the couple were very welcoming and friendly and spoke excellent English. The breakfast provided plenty of choice and the accommodation was just a short 10 minute walk across the river into Bergerac old town. Free parking was available behind the property in a public car park.
The hotel is clean but must have been renovated long long time ago. The rules are correct and clean really not very stylish. The pool area was very nice.
The hotel is located in three minutes walking distance to the centre which is very convenient.
We also like the fact that for €10, we had a secure parking spot.
The hotel looks more like a one or two star hotel
Perfectly located. Incredibly good value. Really lovely swimming pool. 5 min walk to centre of town, restaurants, shops etc. Really nice staff with good English. We got free parking nearby. Air con. Great shower. Very quiet. We’ve stayed in expensive hotels with more stars which haven’t been as good. It’s a great find.
Nick and Jenny were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The b&b is set in a peaceful, quiet area yet just 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Bergerac (along the river). The garden of the b&b is great to sit out in, and the rooms are spacious, comfy and clean! Nick and Jenny put on an excellent breakfast each morning.
The host is friendly and helpful. I like the studio, you can cook yourself, walking distance to a supermarket. easy walking distance to town centre,(around 10mins) it's a small town anyway. parking space outside if you drive a car. quiet in the evening. suitable for sole traveler or couples
Location was ideal a two minute walk to the main shop/bar/restaurant area , breakfast buffet was really good , with a good choice . Staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms clean , nice balcony overlooking
Square , used on a couple of days for a market , did not disturb us.
The location was perfect as only a 10 min walk along the river into the Old Town. The room was fantastic & breakfast was great. Our hosts, Jenny & Nick, were very welcoming and helpful. We'd highly recommend R&R Bergerac as a place to stay.
The decoration is quite nice. The rooms are well equipped. The sofa is comfortable. It’s right in the centre of the old town with the window giving a view of the little place with the statue of Cyrano.
Plenty of bed linen and towels.
Wonderful location in the old town area. 2 bedroom 2nd floor apartment was spacious with everything you need. Bottle of wine and chocolates was a lovely touch and unexpected.
Communication with the owner was prompt and first class.
Bergerac centre historic, with a good choice of restaurants. Great part of France: river Dordogne, vineyards, villages, good rail links to Bordeaux, St Emilion, and Sarlat. Lively town most nights.
Easy late checkin via box, not so big but nice and practical room with AC, free parking, boulangerie next door as good alternative to the hotel breakfast, shops and restaurant neraby.
