Torres del Rio is a nice little village.
Torres del Rio is a nice little village. There's a lovely church there and you can sit outside and look out over the countryside. There's a shop that opens very early for anyone walking the camino, and they sell coffee, fruit and pastries.SusanIreland

The staff were all warm and welcoming, and clearly enjoyed their jobs. O had a 3-course evening meal for €15...including a very decent local bottle of red!

He is also very kind and considerate towards his customers. During my journey to Santiago de Compostela, Hotel Rural La Pata de Oca left me precious memories that I will cherish. I will pray for his during my pilgrimage.
