Fabulous decor and extremely comfortable. Loved the bed linen and beautiful woollen throw which Ezcaray is famous for. The complimentary bottle of Rioja in the room was a lovely touch too. Delicious food and friendly staff. We only stayed for one night but wish we'd had longer not only to spend in the hotel but also to have more time to discover Ezcaray.

Nicely restored section of ancient Yuso monastery. The exterior is a bit severe but the interior and the rooms are very nice.

The owner Juan is a welcoming kind and helpful host. His vision is to have a eco friendly hotel and very refreshing to see how he doing this. Room was simple, clean and bright with a balcony. Quiet. Very economical and excellent value for money and would say deserves more than 1 star rating. Communal areas to sit in and some parking outside.

People here are really nice. Soooo Nice! And it’s all clean and they serve really good food for dinner&breakfast. I had some problem with my bicycle, they helped me for speaking Spanish instead of me. I’m so grateful for everything in here :)
