It has been beautiful , but now you see a general lack of attention to presentation. Rooms very clean . Public areas have no feeling of care and lack of information about facilities is evident . Car park dirty unkempt gardens . Banquet room dirty and untidy .

Springs Mittagong, hotel in Burrawang

Just 5 minutes’ walk from restaurants and shops, Springs Mittagong offers free Wi-Fi and accommodation in tranquil rural surrounds.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly helpful staff, who were able to accommodate both early check in and late check out. King room had good facilities like a small lounge, kitchen table, microwave, larger bar fridge, some crockery and glasses etc which made travel with a little one a lot easier as compared to a small hotel room. Comfy beds. Very close to the RSL for great dinner meals and McDonalds close by for brekkie! Short drive (and also very walkable) to Mittagong main street. Shopping centre nearby also in walking distance. We also thought the gardens (hedges and camellias) were really well kept, which made the motel look great.

Hillview Heritage Estate, hotel in Burrawang

Originally built in the 1870s and situated on a commanding summit with majestic views, Hillview Heritage Estate is ideally located to explore the Southern Highlands.

Absolutely loved the Hillview Heritage cottage. For those who love antiques and old charm, back in time accommodation look no further. No wifi was also the best. We sat around the dining table and talked all day and night. The old iron claw foot bathtub was amazing! So relaxing and soothing. Our Silky terrier loved the place too. The place is so close to IGA and general store. We’ve dined at Bowral, Moss Vale etc. Even it was raining all our stay, the place was relaxing, sound of rain was healing. Definitely will stay again.

    Pretty area in Southern Highlands.

Pretty area in Southern Highlands. Some nice drives and good location to visit Burrawang village, lunch at the Burrawang Pub, coffee in the main street and enjoy the winter flowers. Also, close to Grandpa's Shed (worth a visit for old antiques), Fitzroy Falls for a walk, Bowral for shopping. Lots to do or just sit back and read a book by the fireplace at the accommodation

When we got there it was quite cold so we built a fire in the fire place which really warmed up the house and made it cozy. A tip for staying at the house is to interact with the animals more, you can hand feed the goats with tree leaves. They are friendly.

    A tiny town with personality.

A tiny town with personality. Reserve your restaurant seats as dining fills up fast. You can walk to the pub and The Grocer, but all other restaurants need a car. Moonacres Kitchen in Robertson was a standout for breakfast and Pizzas in the Mist was also great fun. A visit to Fitzroy Falls is a must, the track is easy, with the exception of a few tricky steps. There are spectacular views of the falls after a very short, flat walk of about 150 metres. This is a peaceful place, great for walks, You will need to take some other amusements if that's not your thing.
