What a find, in a great position with dinner and breakfast on site. The included breakfast was great and the lady serving has the best personality. The dinner menu was extensive and the food was really good. The room was really comfortable and had everything in it that we needed. All the staff were lovely and very welcoming. It is a place we have told a lot of people about and if we are passing through again we will definitely stay at the Knickerbocker Hotel.

Beautiful heritage real estate, a lovely Central Park and Mount panorama. Shopping opportunities are limited as are eateries after 5 pm. Easy to walk around and park - lovely wide streets built for horse and carriages. A lovely regional art gallery and Doppio Bathurst is a great spot to grab a coffee on route from the train station to town. Al Denté is a great cafe in town for wholesome options for breakfast and lunch - opens very early and you can read the local rag.

I was at Bathurst for work.
I was at Bathurst for work. The view I had from my hotel room was the famous Bathurst racing track. which was lovely to look out on too.
I didn't get much time to explore and would like to visit again so I can take in more of the charming old town. People were very friendly, and everything was pretty close by, I ate at the George Pub as the food was so lovely, and The Ridges wasn't serving dinner on the Sunday and Monday nights I was staying.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Bathurst, and I will also visit again and hopefully will get to stay longer.

Have passed through Bathurst many times and this was the first time we stayed.
Has awesome parks and walking tracks. Felt very safe walking around town late on a Friday night. Lots of old buildings with excellent descriptions of their history.
Ice-cream shop was packed and doing a roaring trade. Yummo.
Found a coffee shop open at 6am on a Saturday morning and coffee was sensational.
Driving the track is always a highlight as well.
Next time will be staying several days.

Lots to see and do. Just being there was nice.
Lots to see and do. Just being there was nice. The Motor Museum, the race track obviously but just the lovely streets and beautiful old buildings. Abercrombie house was a highlight too.
The only thing was the huge central park was closed due to the 'possibility' of falling branches from bats. It was over kill. Nanny state philosophy. Very disappointing by local council.
Otherwise would have loved to stay longer than 3 days.
Our stay at the Victoria was very comfortable. The welcome was super friendly, and as it was a cold night it was lovely that the staff had already turned on the heating in our room. The hotel has a great location in the historic centre of Bathurst. The room itself was very spacious and had very good amenities. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant downstairs, which has great options including vegetarian dishes plus excellent wines from the local region. The wifi worked well.
The restaurant and breakfast buffet were fabulous. Highly recommend and worth the stay in themselves. Every staff member we came across (there was three of us across three rooms), was friendly and helpful. They actually seemed pleased to be working there. The linen and room was lovely. The only bug was noise travelling at night due to the design of the hotel rooms.
Everything was clean and well cared for. Will definitely return when in Bathurst.
Basic option which is fine for an overnight pit stop. Overall, the place is showing its age a bit and could do with a refresh. The massive advantage this hotel has is the location - located on the main highway, it's of course very easy to make a quick getaway in the morning. Also, it's very close to the main streets of Bathurst with easy access to a plethora of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and fast food outlets.
OK. So this was more like a hostel than a guesthouse. It is in a lovely old building which was in itself fun and interesting. It is in its early days of operation and will no doubt develop over time. For now it would not be for everyone, but if you had a group of friends who wanted to share time out of your rooms there are communal areas and verandahs, including some with superb views over the town and countryside.
Clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast provided in the room cost. Hotel has a lift to level 1 and 2 so you can choose to take the stairs or not. Excellent bistro meals and outdoor area, the hotel has areas to suit everyone. Security camera monitored parking area at the back of the hotel, easy to get to in central Bathurst township. We will be staying there again when next travelling through or to Bathurst.
The room was clean and presentable with very comfortable beds and extra pillows and blankets. Coffee and tea were supplied with a starter milk in the fridge. Bathroom was very clean and well supplied with toiletries. Staff were polite and helpful. The motor inn was located within walking distance of the Dudley Hotel which offered a wide choice of meals and an open fire. On site parking was very convenient.
The house was very comfortable and spacious enough for a group of 4 couples. Beautifully finished and everything you might need was thought off. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the lux touches throughout. Walking distance to where we needed to go as well as pubs and restaurants. We would stay at this property again.
Spacious modern layout with 2 separate and very large bedrooms with comfortable beds.
Well appointed kitchen.
Outdoor area for breakfast or afternoon tea.
Just 2-3 minutes from local pubs and restaurants.
Quiet area with ample street parking.
Ease of check in and check out process.
The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The Heritage Inn is within walking distance of the city of Bathurst, shops, restaurants, pubs and gardens.
Beautiful old building. Room and beds were very comfortable. Good security. Had our own bathroom. Could walk around freely. Had a really lovely stay in Bathurst, and yes I'd recommend.
