Exceptional place with a great view of the mountains :) I loved everything about our stay, the staff were cordial and interactive and the parking place was very convenient. As it is nearby the Highway, it is much more convenient for travelers with own vehicle. No parking fees which is a delight, unlikely in City center which charge 16 Euros per day like the hotels near Central Station :)
Public transport like Bus connectivity is also right across the hotel and beside depending upon the direction of travel.
If I visit Salzburg in future, this is where I stay henceforth.
Thank you :)

Made famous for its “hills alive with the sound of music”, Salzburg is a very pretty town filled with romantic buildings and squares. If you are not yet aware that Mozart was born here, then you will be as soon as you land at Salzburg W.A. Mozart International Airport.
Further your education about this musical prodigy at his actual birthplace, Mozarts Geburtshaus. The city is the namesake of the Salzach River which runs through it, and alongside this beautiful river lays the Schloss Mirabell, one of the many impressive castles within the city limits. Schloss Mirabell and Hellbrunn with their picturesque gardens, beautiful galleries and impressive halls make the ideal spot for a picnic during summer.
The white-stone Hohensalzburg fortress is perched upon a green hill and offers magnificent views over the city. Or, you can escape it all in the Kapuzinerberg forest, which offers splendid Alpine vistas- a reminder of Salzburg’s natural beauty.
The shopping centre focuses around Alter Markt Square and Getreidegasse, the latter is a quirky street with old-fashioned signs indicating what each store sells. With 125 hotels and guesthouses available on Booking.com, your stay in Salzburg is bound to be as pleasant as this city is pretty.
I love Salzburg. It is beautiful in any season. The old town with its churches, galleries, coffee shops and magnificent castle on the top of the rocks. We took the Festungbahn to the castle and had a lovely dinner with a view on the top of the rocks. We also strolled through the old town and took part in the 10 k Hervis run so we could see the mountains and the residential parts of Salzburg. We arrived by train and the journey was quite quick and easy. We had late breakfast at Café Tomaselli. Great coffee and cakes with a view from a balcony. There is still so much to see and do.

Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful scenery. Fun Sound of Music tour taken with Panorama tours (I’d recommend them). Lots of interesting places to view and visit. Great for walks and cafe/bar stops along the routes. We went by train to Vienna for a day trip and took a bus tour around the city. A full day and a little tiring but well worth it. Reception staff at the hotel booked the train and taxi tickets for us which was very helpful.

Very nice, rather small city, with a lot of thing to do and see, a little bit expensive food and tons of things to do and see for children.
Very good transportation and must buy is the salzburg card. Very good train connection to vienna airport, 3h direct. You can have lunch in it.
This is a nice apartment complex with very modern facilities. We had superior 2 room apartment with Kitchen. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and quite specious. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The apartment is about 15 mins walk from the Mirabell Palace. There is a very convenient bus stop right in front of the hotel and the bus routes 1,2 and 23 takes you to the old town. The Salzburg main railway station is about 5 min walk.
There is an excellent Italian restaurant around the corner.
This aparthotel has a very location, a 10 minute walking from the Salzburg Train Station and the Old Town. Staying in an apartment was essential since the restaurants close very early if you arrive to the city at night. The Check-in and Check-out was easy, the staff give you great instructions. If requested (and depending availability), you can do an early check-in. The Room was bigger then expected and with everything you need for a few nights on Salzburg. We really enjoy our Stay :)
The price was exactly what I had planned. When I was picking between the hotel restaurant Auerhahn and some well known hotels for similar prices, I wanted fine dining close at hand along with helping a smaller business. This is purely family owned and you will meet the same 2-5 people that handle everything each and every day. One more note on the food - it was some of the better I've had in Austria, not only Salzburg.
Very convenient hotel with parking and nearby the funicular and old town. The hotel staff were very nice at reception and provided clear instructions. The hotel rooms have AC, which worked well and were very necessary during the hotel summer. The rooms were also very clean, including the bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast spread (for an additional price) is very large.
Lovely hotel. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Receptionists very friendly and helpful, especially the man on duty in the evening. The breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs cooked to order. The shower was first class and beds comfortable. Although out of the old town there was a bus stop right across the road which we used. The hotel sold the Salzburg card which made life very easy.
The location of the hotel is perfect, as you are in the city centre and you can walk everywhere. The staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and cosy, towels were changed every day. It is a quiet area if you want to relax. We also liked very much the blinds on the window.
Breakfast was rich and tasty.
Salzburg is a beautiful town with many attractions, so it's worth visiting.
This was a really wonderful hotel in the old town of Salzburg. Little cafes nearby, beautiful Christmas shops, lots of things to see. It's quiet. I felt welcome from the moment I walked in and the service was exceptional. I stayed in a few places in Austria on this trip and this hotel was the very best, the people, the clean and comfy rooms, the location. I would happily stay again
From Check In to Check Out, all went smooth. The hotel is very conveniently located with a bus route (21) taking you to the heart of Old Town Salzburg in 20 mins.
The staff are well trained and responsive, the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The Hotel Manager Roland, was extremely helpful and gave us a good run-down of what we could do in the time we were in Salzburg.
The staff were so friendly, warm and helpful. They were happy to answer any questions I had about salzburg and gave me some good tips for my time there. The bed was super comfortable and the room and hotel was extremely clean. I felt very safe as a solo traveller staying here. The location is brilliant and within walking distance of cafes, restaurants and the old town.
Motel One Salzburg South is awesome. The location is on the fringe of the city center and close enough to get to the city and the old town. We drove from Vienna and parking is provided in the Plaza basement parking (for a fee). A supermarket is just outside the hotel.
Staff was warm and very helpful. Rooms were clean, comfy and cheerful. Highly recommended
The staff was beyond nice. They informed us about all the main attractions in Salzburg and explained everything on a map. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was exceptional. The hotel environment was very cozy and relaxing, and within a 15 minute walk we were at the old part of town. I absolutely recommend this hotel!
I loved staying at Leonardo hotel because of its location as it gave me the chance to explore the old town and try out local restaurants, shops, attractions and activities.
The room size is perfect compared with other hotels in Salzburg it is also very clean with modern amenities that make travelling easier.
Ended up needing to change hotels last minute and found an affordable spot at Small Luxury Hotel Goldgasse. I lucked out! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, amazing location on a small street near the main square, comfortable room. Will 100% stay here again if I go back to Salzburg.
Beautiful, luxury hotel with excellent staff and a perfect location in old town. The rooms and facilities were so comfortable and elegant. Also, the food at the bar was delicious—especially the Weinerschnitzel and the the Kaiserschmarrn.
Fantastic boutique hotel in very central location in old town . Lovely breakfast and restaurant for dinner and service second to none with owner seeing to work every day but ensuring the most personal attention to everyone
If you’d be arriving by train, nothing else beats the location. Across the hotel is the main tram and bus terminals and with Salzburg pass or unli day ticket, going to city center should be a breeze as well.
I was excited to stay in this hotel in the old town of Salzburg.
Check in was good- the room was good, the bathroom was cold, but all in all the old building is well maintained.
Very nice location, quiet and within easy reach of Salzburg city centre. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Clean and decent sized rooms. Good value for money.
