The location is amazing. Next to a beautiful lake that we went swimming in every day even though the water was freezing, and there is a lovely walk over to the next lake only a few minutes up the road. Really nice buffet breakfast.

Excellent property just 15kms away from main Hallstatt. The drive was pleasant. The rooms are a bit far away from the main reception building but the view from the balcony was awesome. The restaurant is good too.

Very picturesque, quiet and calm place foo relaxation, or for nature walks. Beautiful lake, a bit cold, but you still can bath. You can also find nice little beaches when walking along the lake, not many people around. Not many places to eat, but the food in our hotel restaurant was delicious, very high level!MariannaRussia

Our hotel room was very well equipped, comfy and cozy with attention to the detail. Having a bath with the amazing view on the lake and snowy mountains is a must. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot - the selection was not overwhelming but the taste and quality of the food was excellent. The same applies to the dinner. The hotel sauna just above the lake level is a real treasure!

Andreas told us the history of the land/house which goes back to the 1100s. The property has been in the family since the 1600s and a vacation property since 1745. It has been renovated to modern standards. It is just a great spot to enjoy the great benefits of Austria.
