Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Everything: the place is lovely, there are opportunities to walk around and observe the old mining ventilation shaft, the breakfast is outstanding.(homemade meat, cheese and other supplements). The view is adorable and hospitality of owners is amazing. Cleanliness is on top as well as all facilities in the cottage, nothing to be improved. The super comfy cottage we have and nice terrace

The hosts and staff are so friendly offering to help if we need something extra, They also have pool and lovely reception area that doubles up as communal area come breakfast if you ask. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. Amazing property, big room with private pool and service 24/7. They took us to a big five property to do safari one day and in the other we booked a full-day Kruger safari with them. Both were great, recommend it for everyone.
