There was a basket of food for us full of fruit and bread Etc. I loved that there were bikes and kayaks available to use as we got to explore in a bit more depth around the town. The host was really lovely and helpful! Beautiful property right on the lake front and a beautiful little lodge hidden in flowers and trees.

We only stayed there one night but wished we could have stayed longer. It was in a great location near the Miradouro Escalvado for the most beautiful sunset. The cabin was clean and well cared for. We especially loved the warm dip in the hot tub in the evening. The communication with the owner was excellent.

We were welcomed by fresh baked apple pie and a pot of local tea, absolutely delicious and such a nice touch! The location is great, AC units are great to get rid of the humidity from outside and the neighborhood feels very safe. There even is a pineapple plantation you can visit just around the corner
