The Lodge itself was spectacular: comfortable, secure, very well located (nothing matches being on a floating island on Lake Titicaca!), and warm. The food was also a plus. Carlos and Maribel gave us all the information we needed about tours, the lake, and the Uros community.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Uros Samarana Uta Lodge is situated in Puno. Titicaca Lake is 7 km from the property. Our host Cesar was very friendly, helpful and did his best to cater to all our needs. Food was exceptional and the little side tours interesting. Others have commented on it being cold so we came well prepared. This wasn't necessary as the room was warm, plenty of blankets, hot water bottle and heater to keep warm. Would highly recommend this experience.
