Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and accessed by the Madre de Dios riverboat from Puerto Maldonado port, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is located in Puerto Maldonado. Excursions were excellent and part of what makes the experience of the stay. The food was decent quality and the hotel was very generous with its meals. The seats outside of the rooms were nice to look at surroundings. Bed was massive and comfy.

With garden views, Sotupa Eco Lodge is situated in Puerto Maldonado and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. We loved it! The rooms & surroundings were so beautiful, staff were so welcoming - the perfect place to relax. Loads of great activities included thanks to knowledgable guide Jiro. Would 100% recommend staying here.

With river views, Sunrise of Tambopata is located in Puerto Maldonado and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar and garden. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Every meal are home made, clean ,fresh and delicious , you can see anything is cooking in the owners kitchen. The owner is so kind and patient , really like to help us for our any requirements. The activities price here are reasonable , and the guides are wonderful . Close to the river , surround by the rainforest , you can hear the birds anywhere , really really nice to relax yourself , and every night you can see the wonderful galaxy , sunset , sunrise.

Providing a restaurant, Casa Amazonas provides accommodation in Puerto Maldonado. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with garden views. The staff opened the resort just for me! It was unbelievable. I only had one day there and they planned everything around what was available in my time at the resort. I used their airport transfer and it was about 20 minutes away. I had a chance to shower and then lunch was ready. I explored the property and checked out the yoga area and did some meditation on my own, then my first activity was ink painting with an indigenous artist. I did not brush up on any of my spanish so I ended up using Google Translate but the information was so interesting and the artist and I worked on a piece together, then she painted my face with the same design. It was such a great experience. Dinner was served a few hours later and then I just hung out with the property gatos and just took in the beauty of being in the Amazon. The next morning I had a flower bath and it was so rejuvenating and lovely. Definitely one of the top 3 activities my whole time in Peru! Just outstanding. I would return in a heartbeat!

Offering garden views, Hacienda Herrera Tambopata in Puerto Maldonado provides accommodation, a garden and a terrace. The staff was amazingly friendly. We loved our tours and guide as well. The food was delicious.

Offering a garden, Ecoamazonia Lodge offers accommodation in Puerto Maldonado Jungle, in Peru. All meals are included in rates. All units include a seating area. Beautiful property in the middle of the jungle. We looked at several other lodges but picked this one for it's more modern amenities. This is an all inclusive lodge. Rooms are screened in (not all lodges are) with 5500 acres to themselves. The cost includes daily excursions around the many trails that they created for the guests leisure. The trails take you in to the depth of the jungle while experiencing the beauty that it offers - monkeys, birds, tarantulas, snakes etc. Guilds were extremely knowledgeable and kind. always on the lookout for things to see. Things to consider - bug spray - the local ones work better than the US ones that we brought. Clothing - while hiking - long airy pants and quick dry long (or short) shirts will make your hike more enjoyable. I brought 2 but I wish I had 4-5. Best room is called "Tarzan". We stayed in "Tucan" which was OK but close to other visitors. Hard to describe but you can hear anyone in proximity to your room since it is all screened in. Staff was SUPER hard working. They were on their feet from 4 am to 10 pm daily. I have to tip my hand to these folks, simply incredible! 10 thumbs up for the staff

Located only 3.5 hours from Puerto Maldonado city. (One hour by bus and 2.5 hrs by boat) This lodge is the only one inside the National Reserve of Tambopata. Free WiFi is featured. The total package is a wonderful experience. From the long-boat journey to the field excursions, all well run. The accommodation is superb when you consider where it is in a jungle setting. A quality experience. The staff are superb and the facilities well maintained in a very hot, wet and humid setting. Its the little things like gum boots and well placed umbrellas that make for a well thoughtout experience. Then you add on the wildlife which is everywhere!!

Located in the heart of the Tambopata Candamo National Reserve, Wasai Tambopata Lodge offers its guests Amazon Expeditions and free WiFi access. Fishing trips can also be arranged in the area. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, La Habana Conservation Area offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. This is a perfect rainforest oasis! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make us comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the pool is a great feature. The bed was comfy and the area super peaceful. The ideal place to relax. In addition, they have a baby monkey they rescued who is amazing! So playful and friendly - an unexpected highlight!
