Our host and his family went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and were always there if we needed anything. Be prepared for the cold at night but the stunning sunset and sunrise will keep your body and spirit warm.

This was the highlight of my visit to Peru. I arrived on the Titicaca train in the early evening, and a driver had been organized to drive me to the local port, where I was escorted by Juan, an exceptional host in every sense of the word, to the island which he and his father had built. During my stay there, Juan invited me on mini tours around some of the islands, where I learned more about Uros culture and history. The Peruvian meals prepared by his wife Amalia were exceptional- always on time, delicious, substantial and inviting. I was never hungry. Juan ensured that my stay at Amalia was truly exceptional and something which I'll never forget- watching the starry nights from a comfortable and warm bed, enjoying the sounds of silence of the lake, being mesmerized by the sunsets, and learning more about the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. This was truly an amazing experience!

With mountain views, Uros Lake Titicaca Lodge is located in Puno and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Complimentary WiFi is provided. I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. Situated in Puno, Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru offers accommodation with views of the lake, and breakfast included every day. Everything was marvellous: the place, the view, the sunsets. What really made everything perfect was the people: Eddie, Salome, their family and Tini, the family's pet. We felt welcomed and cared for. We were even provided with hot water bottles at night. A wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Uros Samarana Uta Lodge is situated in Puno. Titicaca Lake is 7 km from the property. My partner and I had the BEST time at the Uros Samarana Uta Lodge. Joel went above and beyond. He also organized a perfect Trip to the Taquile Island for us. As we arrived in the late afternoon, we were even allowed to stay the complete next day until the evening. Joel showed us first around at the Uros with the motorboat and in the evening we even had a nice boatride with a traditional reed boat! Joel and his family are all so kind, respectful and heartwarming, we wish we could have stayed even longer. The Lodge itself is beautifully done (look at the pictures :)) and this was even made by Joel himself!! We had a wonderful, relaxing and literally "floating" experience on the floating islands, since Joel organized everything perfectly (from the beginning to the end!) Thanks again!

Built on the floating islands of Uros, a 30-minute sail off the coast of Puno, UROS TITICACA LODGE Puno Peru offers accommodations in the highest navigable lake in the world. The property was amazing. Such a unique experience. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and homemade. They could not have done enough for us! Would 100% recommend this experience

Located on Uros floating island, Uros Summa Paqari is situated in Puno, 7 km from Titicaca Lake. Puno Port is 5 km away. All rooms are fitted with private bathroom facilities. Gorgeous place to stay!! The room was fab, better than we expected. Everything was very clean, a lovely hot shower and plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The dinner and breakfast was nice and the family here are so welcoming and friendly.

Located 5 km off the coast of Puno and built on the Uros floating islands, Uros Qhantany Lodge offers accommodations in the middle of Lake Titicaca. The coast of Puno is a 30-minute sail away. Wilburt and Delia were amazing hosts, who were super friendly, sweet, caring and more than just hosts. For 3 days it felt like family. Locationwise it is an amazing location for a romantic get away and time to spent together. The stary sky, the beautiful lakeview of titicaca lake are very special and make it a stay to remember. Wilburt and Delia will endulge you in local cultural aspects of their life and will show you the Urus island way of living. Absolut must recommendation. We loved our stay and would come back any time. The bed is amazing, you will never sleep cosier than in this hotel.
