The property is beautifully located in a real jungle, surrounded by a tropical garden. It’s an oasis to chill and a great place to spot animals. Right there we saw monkeys, giant toads and much more! It’s family owned and the wife of the owner prepared us delicious breakfasts and dinners. They have fruit in their garden for your smoothies, pineapple, papaya, oranges and bananas. Even pancakes were served with real honey not some fake maple sirop. Super recommended!

Gianni is a brilliant host, super friendly with fun chat and very helpful. Norlan the housekeeper is also a lovely guy. The room was comfortable and clean (it was also cleaned a couple times during our stay), the kitchen is really good (fresh coffee every morning!), there are hammocks and tables outside for hanging during the heat of the day. The location is excellent - just off the beach, near the only two shops in Popoyo, next to several restaurants and opposite a board rental place. Easy access to the reef break (about 10-15mins walk), a bit longer to Beginners Bay. Wifi wasn’t great in our room but fine in the communal spaces. Great vibes, wish we could have stayed longer!

The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

We had the most wonderful stay at 99 Surflodge. The accommodation is stunning, the food is delicious and the staff is really friendly! The rooms are really comfortable, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Loved the common areas and the pool. Views were great. We enjoyed the meals we had there and all of the staff was wonderful. The bungalows have enough space and vegetation between them that we felt pleasantly secluded. In genera, 'd say the photos and descriptions are representative of what you'll get.

Situated in Santa Cruz, Dragon's Garden features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Maderas Volcano is 6.3 km from the lodge. everything! it was a beautiful space, the bed was comfy, the staff were kind, the breakfast (at additional cost of a reasonable $5) was awesome, it was a great location, the “in nature” feel was perfect and the VIEW!! amazing
