Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. Great staying in a tent before our safari adventure. We went to sleep to the noise of thousands of insects!! It's a great glamping experience! We arrived at around 6:30pm in the dark and rain and were straight away whisked off to our tent. We asked that evening if we could have a packed breakfast for 5am the next day and straightaway the answer was yes.

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The staff is wonderful. During our entire trip through Sri Lanka we haven't met any nicer people than here. Moreover, the food they offer you will not only fulfill your taste buds, it will also fill you for days to come. Lastly, they are in a brilliant location to provide safaris to Yala and are great at finding animals and explaining around the whole ecosystem.

Offering a restaurant, Koragaha Lodge - Yala provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests. The air-conditioned accommodation will provide you with work desk and seating area. It’s really an amazing place! We really enjoyed! Everything is perfect and super beautiful! We did the safari with the Hotel and it’s good too, it’s not more expensive compared to companies outside.

Yala Village Eco Tree House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Tissamaharama, 10 km from Tissa Wewa. We had an amazing stay with the heartwarming family that is taking care of the eco village. We were welcomed very lovely by the host and her daughter. She served delicious Sri Lankan food and was always checking whether everything was fine. The property is really beautiful and gives the feeling of an authentic jungle stay. The huts are small but cosy and mosquito nets are already provided. Sadly we booked our safari tour beforehand but the hosts of the eco village also offer safari jeep tours so we would highly recommend to book it with them. The brother of the host was also very friendly and took care that we get to the bus station on time to catch our bus to Hiriketyia. In total we would really recommend to stay at this place and get the chance to live with locals.

Situated in Tanamalwila, 34 km from Udawalawe National Park and 26 km from Tissa Wewa, Thanamal-villa features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. I have had two awesome nights at this place. Expect a very basic but clean house and a fantastic owner. He organised all sorts of things for me, including a great safari. We were almost completely alone there and were able to marvel at a family of elephants with a baby twice. He showed me local traditions and I really enjoyed him as a host. In the morning I was able to watch playing monkeys for hours in front of the terrace. It was really fun.

Offering mountain views, Elephant Arcade in Tissamaharama offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Very nice comfortable house rooms, pleasant view, beutifull birds around singing. Peacefull place with very kind and helpfull people take care of you. Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

Set in Kataragama in the Monaragala District region, with Kataragama Temple nearby, Wadula Safari - Yala offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Where do I start? Staying at the Wadula in an exoerience, not just a stay at a hotel! The accommodation is situated in the middle of nature. This is why you're escorted by one of the brothers that own the hotel from the main road because otherwise you'd probably get lost. Think nature, think a jungle-like experience! If you're a nature lover such as myself you will love this place! The owners, Dulaj and Chamith, are the best hosts you could possibly imagine. Welcoming, all smiles, and extremely helpful. They can arrange a host of things such as transportation, packed lunches and, of course safaris in neighbouring (literally 50 metres away) Yala National Park. The safari, arranged by the brothers, comes highly recommended! We did the full day safari. Very good packed breakfast, yummy lunch and to top it all off we saw elephants and yes, the ever elusive panther! Go for it! Ask Dulaj or Chamith to arrange the safari for you! They know the best guides! As for the accommodation: you will stay in your own private beautiful bungalow. It has all the amenities such as flatscreen TV, WiFi, aircon, coffee /tea, and in the bathroom apart from shampoo, even conditioner, toothpaste etc etc. Wonderful! Each balcony has a veranda with a gorgeous view over the lake. A perfect place to relax in the evenings! If you love nature and if you love a quiet peaceful place, look no further and book the Wadula!

Featuring a terrace, Tree Tops Yala is a villa, set in Yala. It provides free private parking. There is a seating area and a kitchen complete with an oven and a microwave. Perfect stay at Tree Tops Yala, food was amazing and very quiet location

Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

Located on the edge of a rice field and a 5-minute walk from the shores of Lake Yoda, Gaga Bees Yala features free WiFi in public areas. This Eco friendly resort offers an outdoor infinity pool. Henkilökunta oli uskomaton, ehkä parasta palvelua mitä olen koskaan saanut. Sijainti oli upea. Paikka oli todella siisti. Ruoka oli todella hyvää. Vuode todella mukava.
