Waking up to the serene sounds of the river and the vibrant colors of the flora was truly a surreal experience. The culinary journey at Nature Glow Cottage was equally unforgettable. The delicious local food served here is a gastronomic delight. From traditional Sri Lankan dishes bursting with flavors to fresh, exotic fruits, every meal was a treat for the taste buds. What truly sets this place apart is the over-the-top hospitality of the host, Nalaka and his wife. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for the guests make you feel like you're part of the family. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Nature Glow Cottage is more than just accommodation; it's an immersive experience in the heart of Sri Lanka's natural beauty, culture, and hospitality. I can't recommend it enough to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat with a touch of local charm.

The room is perfect and you look out on a lovely garden with a river next to it (you can swim!). The family is so lovely and the dinner they cooked was amazing. On top, they arranged a super nice safari with a very good driver. Wish I could stay a bit longer to enjoy the peace and quiet on a sunny day!

We stayed 2 nights in this village jungle oasis among coconut trees, at this super friendly family. Great location, a bit off the beaten path but very comfortable, great huge bed, no mosquitos. Super shower! Our hosts cooked great food for us, we got the best breakfast during our 3week stay in Sri Lanka. We also went on a super full day safari with Sujee, was a highlight of our trip, saw many elephants!

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, River Glamping by Gaga bees is located in Udawalawe in the Ratnapura District Region, 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. Nice place, clean room and courteous staff. I recommend.
