Above the rooms there is a large opensided common area looking into the treetops. Here meals are served and it is a great place to while away time after an early morning Safari into Sinharaja Forest. The food is home-cooked using ingredients grown on the property, and is spectacular – the best we have encountered in Sri Lanka.

Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Hiriketiya'da yer alan yakın zamanda yenilenmiş Coconut Cabin - Hiriketiya Beach, Kudawella Plajı'na 2,6 km, Hummanaya Hava Deliği'ne ise 5,6 km uzaklıktadır. The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

The people working on the property always made sure I have a good time and feel comfortable during my stay. Besides of that the house and the rooms are very beautiful and modern and the view you have is just incredible ! Would always return :)

The Cinnamon Lodge is really great! It is well equipped with everything you need and perfectly build. Especially the kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. It was a real pleasure to stay here. We got a delicous lime juice as a welcome drink and they also surprised us with fresh fruits from their garden. We loved the feeling of being in a treehouse in the jungle and we would definitely stay here again!

Incredible view and location. Dumith and his family were extremely accommodating, helpful and caring. The room is well-equipped, private, clean and has proper Wifi. It has a really nice terrace where you can listen and watch all sort of birds pass by. We were treated like family members. They always went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. Dumith was always happy to show us around and accompanied us all the way to Deniyaya city to make sure we get on the right bus. Highly recommended and will be back.
