Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. Great staying in a tent before our safari adventure. We went to sleep to the noise of thousands of insects!! It's a great glamping experience! We arrived at around 6:30pm in the dark and rain and were straight away whisked off to our tent. We asked that evening if we could have a packed breakfast for 5am the next day and straightaway the answer was yes.

Located 400 metres from Tangalle Beach, Star Light Cabanas & Restaurant offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Wonderful place to stay. Very hospitable family. Rooms are basic but very clean. Food is delicious and they cater for all. You do need to have a scooter or something as it’s far from the nearest shops. But they will take you, for a small fee, which is very helpful. Great place to see turtles laying eggs and hatchlings being released.

Offering a restaurant, Koragaha Lodge - Yala provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests. The air-conditioned accommodation will provide you with work desk and seating area. It’s really an amazing place! We really enjoyed! Everything is perfect and super beautiful! We did the safari with the Hotel and it’s good too, it’s not more expensive compared to companies outside.

Yala Village Eco Tree House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Tissamaharama, 10 km from Tissa Wewa. We had an amazing stay with the heartwarming family that is taking care of the eco village. We were welcomed very lovely by the host and her daughter. She served delicious Sri Lankan food and was always checking whether everything was fine. The property is really beautiful and gives the feeling of an authentic jungle stay. The huts are small but cosy and mosquito nets are already provided. Sadly we booked our safari tour beforehand but the hosts of the eco village also offer safari jeep tours so we would highly recommend to book it with them. The brother of the host was also very friendly and took care that we get to the bus station on time to catch our bus to Hiriketyia. In total we would really recommend to stay at this place and get the chance to live with locals.

Featuring a balcony with sea views, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Khomba Lodge can be found in Tangalle, close to Tangalle Beach and 1 km from Paravi Wella Beach. It is a huge beautiful building directly at the beach (a quite nice one) with 3 apartments. Our apartment was quite big with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen, a large living room and 2 big balconies. Everything is well equipped and you can easily spend several weeks here. It has a big pool, more than enough sunbeds and the beach is just out of the backside gate. There is 24h security on the property and free drinking water. The whole staff is exceptional (especially Rehan)! Everything is clean and well maintained. The location is also perfect as you have tons of nice restaurants at walking distance.

Offering mountain views, Elephant Arcade in Tissamaharama offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Very nice comfortable house rooms, pleasant view, beutifull birds around singing. Peacefull place with very kind and helpfull people take care of you. Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

Providing garden views, Villa Rukaththana UNAKURUWA in Tangalle provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and barbecue facilities. I thought about 2 night there but I stayed 5 😅 I really like the villa, the option of making my own breakfast in the morning was awesome 🥰 Every day the common area was cleaned. Mosquito net is available but only by request. The most beautiful beach - silent beach was only 2 min from the villa! I really enjoyed spending the time there. The staff was really helpful and nice. Near the villa are a lot of family’s small restaurants serving local food. Also for people like me who traveling a lot - the option of making laundry was salutary 😌

Located in Kalametiya in the Hambantota District region and Gurupokuna Beach reachable within 1.5 km, Taragala Chalets provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private... The location right next to the bird sanctuary is fabulous, and it is only a short walk to Taragala Rock, from here you have a perfect wiew of the whole area. The garden is an ideal place for watching birds of many kinds. Saman is very helpful, and he helped arranging a boat trip in the lagoon. The breakfast was very nice, and generous. The WiFi , aircondition, the shower all worked well. The bed was comfortable.

With garden views, Relax Beach House is situated in Tangalle and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Very close to the beautiful Mawella beach. The owner speaks English very well and communication was therefore absolutely perfect. He arranged for us a trip to Ella with a stop for the safari in Uda Walawe. There's a restaurant attached to the accommodation and the owner's wife is an amazing cook.
