It’s hard to list what we liked as we enjoyed the place very much. So in short -location next to the great beach hidden in a forest -small hotel, only 4 bungalows -beds very comfortable -very nice restaurant with possibilities to eat on the beach -all meals just great, menu changes every day You can keep on listing, though I would say the biggest value of this place is it’s owner Barbara who keeps close eye on everything in the hotel, keeping all in order and is very helpful in assisting and negotiating decent prices for transportation, tours and even tuk tuks… knowledge of local market can’t be overrated in this area…

The wifi worked great, 4 minute walk from the beach. Bed and room were huge and comfortable. Host was caring and helped us secure a ride to the airport!

Ceylon Nature Paradise asub Uragasmanhandiyas, 50 km kaugusel Jaapani rahupagoodist, 14 km kaugusel Kosgoda kilpkonnahauakambrist ja 19 km kaugusel Lunugangast. Location is amazing. Like a little private island. Entrance to the resort is like a nice walk in mangrove jungle. It’s really well mantained. We stayed in the ac room and the room was super clean, really comfortable and well decorated. Staff and the owner, ware really helpful and really sweet to us. We can totally recommend to stay here.

The propery is unique and picturesque. The host was very helpful and arranged a perfect vegetarian breakfast for us. Must book when in unawatuna.

Ocean Pearl Cottage asub Ahungalla rannast 600 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on restoran, aed, terrass ja erarand. It literally is a guest house to fall in love with! Our stay at Ocean Pearl Cottage was absolutely fantastic. It was characterized by top-notch quality that made us feel as though we were sleeping in a hotel rather than a guest house. Our room and bathroom were all spacious, immaculate, and so pretty, with the bed being exceptionally comfortable, to the point where saying we loved it would be an understatement. I cannot say enough good things about the owner here! When Sam, the owner of this guest house, is away working on a ship for extended periods each year, his friends step in to manage the property in his absence. We were fortunate to meet Sam, who proved to be the most exceptional host throughout our 2 1/2-month trip through Sri Lanka. Sam is incredibly kind and always goes the extra mile to ensure that every aspect of your stay is flawless. The breakfast was truly exceptional. Each morning, we were treated to a diverse spread that included fresh juices that were simply fantastic. He even provided vegan options for me, which I found to be not only delicious but also greatly appreciated. Upon our arrival, I was already struggling with a dry cough, and he prepared an ayurvedic drink to help me feel better - showing his thoughtfulness and care in a way that meant a lot to me, especially because I did not ask for that. Throughout our stay, the owner was incredibly attentive and funny, always ensuring that we were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed engaging in conversations with him about life, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that we will always remember fondly. He even cleaned our room after a few days without any additional charge, providing fresh towels, and allowing us to use his fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, he offered us the use of his scooter for touring around at no cost. And that's not all - he even cooked dinner for us three nights in a row, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight.

The accommodation was very comfortable and quite worth the price. The people running the villa and incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay so delightful. You can also rent a scooter from them!

Sanda Eliya Resort asub Bentota rannast 300 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, aed ning konditsioneeri, terrassi ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega majutusruumid. Our stay was perfect in this place - from the 1st minute we met the host till the minute we left. We even prolonged our stay. The place is beautiful - design, swimming pool, nature. You really can feel the surrounding nature, but at the same time very safe. The special thing is awesome breakfast served. Many thanks to the host - Nuwan, who really cares about his guests. He spent a lot of time with us, telling interesting things about his country, helping with some shopping & transport. We even made our own spice to take home with us and went to night crabs hunting on the beach !!!
