Danta Corcovado Lodge offers its guests a library, Wi-Fi access in public areas free of charge and extensive gardens. Tea and coffee services are available from 06:00 to 22:00 hours. The outdoor reception and dining area are a great open space, welcoming guests and making us feel very comfortable and relaxed! You can see how much creativity and love for detail went into constructing all buildings and cabins at Danta Corcovado Lodge. I loved the way the cabins were built and especially the “outdoor” bathrooms (still full privacy guaranteed).

Set in Barrigones, La Amapola Lodge, Bungalow en Península de Osa. Offers accommodation with a private pool, a patio and river views. Loved the pool area. Nice to sit and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Could absolutely see returning with a bigger group.

Offering garden views, Finca la Bonita, Playa Carate in Carate offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden and a terrace. A patio with mountain views is offered in each unit. Location in the trees of the Costa Rican jungle, perfectly private, outdoor cold (but not too cold) shower under trees. Wildlife in abundance, from howler and spider monkeys in the trees above the cabin; to agoutis, leaf-cutter ants, various lizards and amphibians, crabs below it, plus stunning butterflies, toucans and scarlet macaws - one wonder after another. Christian is a kind, helpful, professional bilingual host, extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, first-class tour guide and able to fix anything. Meals all prepared from fresh ingredients. My favorites were the breakfast fruits and dinners with avocados and freshly-caught fish. All staff was friendly and accommodating. It was the most peaceful, rejuvenating week I've ever had.

With Rincon Beach reachable in a few steps, Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a bar. Sam and his family were really welcoming. We loved staying there. The bungalow was surrounded by nature and so close to the beach. The food was very nice too. Would highly recommend :-)

Set in Cabo Matapalo in the Puntarenas region and Tamales Beach reachable within 200 metres, Four Monkeys Eco Lodge - Jungle & Beach offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and... If you love animals and like to be surrounded by nature, then this is the best place to be. While we were there we saw hummingbirds, macaws, toucans, halloween crab and two different types of monkeys. All of them in the garden of the property. The plants and trees attract the animals. The hosts are very friendly and gave good advice about things that can be done nearby (e.g. horseback riding). Their 3 dogs and 2 cats are adorable. We miss this place already. Be aware that you are in a less-developed area of Costa Rica with limited options of restaurants.

Amazonita Ecolodge is situated in Dos Brazos in the heart of the Jungle, 16 km from Puerto Jimenez. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating area. Absolutely amazing accommodation! It’s incredibly clean and we felt like home immediately. The host is a welcoming and super nice person with local recommendations. We absolutely recommend this to anyone! Thank you for having us :)

Situated in Palo Seco, 15 km from Puerto Jiménez, Finca Kobo features a terrace and views of the mountains. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Amazing tour around the organic farm, very insightful and inspiring!

Surrounded by tropical rainforest, with waterfalls and nature, Luna Lodge features incredible nature tours, yoga, spa treatments, an organic swimming pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. We had an amazing time at the Luna Lodge. The food was very good, the personnel and the owner were very kind and attentive and really made you feel at home. The tents were very big and comfortable. The view from the terazz is magical. Would recommend everyone to spend at least one night here. Visiting the Lodge is an adventure itself. We did a night tour and was very happy with that one.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Kalea Yard Hotel is located in Puerto Jiménez. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available in this tropical lodge. This was such a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was clean and smelled absolutely wonderful. The garden was a small paradise with lots of lizards and monkeys and birds in the trees. The pets (little fluffy dog Bruno and cat Gatita) really made our stay perfect for our kids! The owner was very sweet.
