The host was very easy to communicate and the entire house is spotless with modern vibe. The bed is so comfortable and crib provided for our toddler was super big and comfy which we all can sleep very well. The grill is certainly a plus! Very functional kitchen for us to prepare small meals :)

Hólaskjól Highland Center is situated in northern Fjallabaksleið in the Highlands. If you arrive from the south the last 30 km are on a F road but no rivers to cross.

Like how secluded and special the place is. The fact that it is close to a nameless waterfall. The lava maze that leads up to the waterfall. We have our own cabin, although the space is a bit tight with limited room to move about, the place is comfortable. The host was exceptionally friendly and shared a lot about the space, and about Iceland.
