We came to Montezuma for the hiking and to Boogie Board. My travel guide said that there was surfing at a nearby beach. Well, Boogie boarding is a little different than surfing and the beach was not safe for us. We were ready to leave and go to another area all together. William, our host, was absolutely wonderful about the whole situation and really tried to help us out. We did finally find a great beach (Playa Grande) and had a wonderful 8 days watching birds, monkeys, Agoutis, and iguanas near our casita, and boogie boarding at a gorgeous beach. It was nice to be near town, but not in town (very crowded and noisy). William and his wife were a joy to be around.

Incredible view! Sitting on the balcony in the evenings was magical. And we spotted so many spieces of burds from there:) The staff and the owner were so nice. One of the best places i ever been to👍

Amazing place in the middle of nature. We really enjoyed, even we just stayed for one night. The location is just magic. Definitely worth it!

We loved everything ! We loved the area, super chill vibe, safe, with surprisingly lots of resto and even a brewery! The lodge itself was perfection too, with nice outdoor spaces and everything you need inside! We would come back anytime. Diego was also a gem !!

Great host! There is a resident iguana that loves your left over fruit. One of the nicest facilities we could see. Easy access and pivot point to all of southern Costa Rica Pennisula.

Place was ausome, in the woods, in a separate new neighbourhood, away from the central area, quite, modern and elegantly decorated, pool was big and clean. Owners are welcoming, freindly and helpful.
