The apartment was great in every way. It was far enough out of town to be peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to be in the heart of Garmisch. It had everything you needed with a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bedroom and a cosy lounge. The owners were always responsive when we contacted them.

Christine and her husband are the loveliest people and perfect hosts. We got a tour around the apartments and were shown where we can store ski and snowboard, and the view is just awesome.

Everyone has already mentioned but the view from this apartment is the best. The most important reason for me to choose this accomodation is also because of the view. And it is even beyond my expectation. The host is also very very nice. He supported a lot during the times we were there. I need some information about Garmisch that cannot be found easily from the internet and he is super supportive with that. The apartment has everything within, very convenient.

The ground floor apartment was superb for my family with two kids. It was clean, well stocked, and the hostess had thought of everything and was very helpful. The location was very convenient: walking distance to the Wankbahn area, Eckbauerbahn area, St. Anton area with playground and nice views, historic Ludwigstrasse with nice shops, etc. and an easy drive or ride on public transit to Mittenwald, Grainau, Eibsee, etc. The garden with swingset was a big plus for my two active kids who somehow always had energy even after a long day of hiking. We look forward to visiting the Alpen Apartments again!

The property was perfect for families right outside the gorge, just in the shadow of the Olympic ski jump. The apartments were beautiful and clean. The apartment had all the amenities you would need. The beds were very comfortable. These apartments are surrounded by beautiful views! I loved the kitchen to feed my kids anytime of day and saving money. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and polite. I will definitely stay here again. It was a total dream stay. The cafe on site was nice as well.

The property is close to a beautiful river that is just stunning and the path next to it takes you up to the thé Olympic ski complex and the gorge. The agency who deal with the letting were very helpful and friendly. Town centre is only five minutes walk away. Has a small but perfectly functional balcony overlooking a peaceful inner courtyard. The bathroom is a nice size and looks good. However the design of the floor is terrible, water from the shower goes everywhere. If it were my apartment, it would be very annoying but as a guest it is only a minor inconvenience.JohnYoung couple
