Pam and Dean are such gracious hosts who are very helpful and knowledgeable of the national park and surrounds. We met their three gorgeous greyhounds who are very loving and always up for a pat. The photos don’t do this place justice and the rooms are just super lovely and cozy. We’ve been travelling for a month and this is the best place we have stayed so far! Nothing was left unthought of and even takeaway cups were available for your morning coffee. We wish we had stayed longer and hope to get back sometime. in a great location only a short drive to the volcano national park and restaurants.

The jacuzzi under the stars at night is awesome. It s really calm and Troy is really nice. You can take snorkel gear to go to the black sand beach and swim with turtle. We got welcomed with fresh papayas and avocados from the garden. The property is very nice and for us in the perfect location as we were not looking for the touristy sites. Close to fantastic snorkeling spots!

Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. The hosts the house and the environment were amazing.

Iao Valley Inn features river views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Wailuku, 3.2 km from Iao Valley State Park. Great place. Good breakfast prepared the day before which allows to have breakfast at your own time. Very quiet and peaceful place. Easy to reach any part of the island.

Brian and his wife were amazing hosts providing us with lots of ideas and tips re what to do. Breakfast was amazing (can basically have anything you’d like!), provided a beautiful fruit plate, juice, tea/coffee. The macadamia and coconut pancakes were amazing. Everything is there for you for a great stay - beach towels, binoculars and headlamps for visiting the volcano, umbrellas, boogie boards, snacks, fresh fruit… you name it - nothing is a problem!
