We were pleasantly surprised that the property was close to the main road but up on a small hill that provided view of the ocean from the deck. The property is super clean and modern with great amenities. There is a nice steakhouse right next door which was very convenient especially when we arrived at dark and hungry.

We had an amazing time staying at Haere Mai I te Fare. The owners and their daughters were fantastic hosts, very helpful. They booked a boat tour for us and provided suggestions for places to visit. The breakfast was varied and large, especially, great selection of jams, preserves, bread and pastries as well as eggs (you need to pay extra but it was definitely worth it). Sunday breakfast was even more plentiful with poisson cru and several cooked meats. We also got dinner there one night which was great as well. If we ever come back to Moorea, we would definitely stay here!

Our host Lea was very friendly and helpful and helped us organise a tour last minute. Definitely recommend.

El Linareva Moorea Beach Resort es un pequeño hotel de estilo típico polinesio francés situado en la playa. The question is rather what's not to like... Beautiful resort with the most kind and helpful owners and staff! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The bungalows are super pretty, all with a convenient kitchenette. You can use the bikes and canoes at no extra cost. The location is very quiet and peaceful. To say we enjoyed our stay there would be an understatement.

Fare Mihiau 2 se encuentra en Hauru y ofrece alojamiento a 2,1 km de Playa de Tiahura, a 21 km de Campo de golf Moorea Green Pearl y a 28 km de Moorea Lagoonarium. Everything was very clean and modern. It is located in quiet area. Owners of the property are there for you and they are very friendly and help you with everything. You can rent a kayak or canoe for little amount and visit the lagoon.

Bungalow KURA se encuentra en Moorea, a 1,8 km de Campo de golf Moorea Green Pearl y a 11 km de Moorea Lagoonarium, y ofrece jardín y aire acondicionado. The bungalow and the surrounding garden are amazing, very well maintained and comfortable. The place is fully equipped with everything need - kitchen basics, towels, toiletries, snorkelling masks etc. Very kind and responsive host. We had a great stay and would come back for sure if visiting Moorea again. Highly recommend.

Fare Mihiau es un alojamiento con wifi gratis y vistas al jardín que está en Hauru, a solo 1,8 km de Playa de Papetoai. This is a great alternative in Moorea to the 'too-expensive' resorts. I loved this little efficiency apartment. It is inside a small gated property with the main (separate) house -- your car is safely inside the gate. The apartment is very tidy and clean. It is super quiet. I personally found the bed just fine. The kitchen has everything you'd need. (Perhaps a small paring knife for fruit could be added.) I bought fresh fruits from local roadside stands and used the kitchen for breakfasts and dinners. Made the entire stay more convenient. There is a small grocery/everyday shop a 5-minte walk away. They have lots of prepared foods for snacks or whatever. Go early because they sell out of prepared foods by noon. The host has a kayak for you to use. You can launch the kayak immediately outside the property -- there's an inlet from the lagoon, so it's very convenient.. One tip for Moorea: rent a scooter or car. This apartment is close to everything, but I'm glad I had a rental car. There are scuba & whale snorkeling places, restaurants, and other shops nearby. But, I saw a lot of tourists walking in the hot afternoon sun. Island buses are not frequent. Oh, one last thing. My Fare Mihiau apartment was only accessible from an outdoor stairway. It was no problem for me. It's sturdy and nice. But, keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns.

Brought us some fresh avocados and always gave us good tips what to see. And the view tho… incredibly beautiful! You feel like you're in the middle of the jungle! Breathtaking!

The owner was very nice and helpful. It was great to have bikes and kayaks. The beach across the street is perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking.
