He even got up early to make me a thermos of mate de coca for my hikes. Hot water was in the room, the wifi was good, and tea and coffee all day and night. The backpackers that stayed here were also very nice.

Featuring mountain views, Kame House hostel features accommodation with a garden, around 1.7 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa. The hosts were very helpful. Chris was very quick to respond and sorted all our hiking trips out for us. The shower always had hot water and the room was clean. There was a terrace up top that gave good views of the city and the mountains.

The staff was amazing! They made us feel at home. The room and the hotel were beautifully decorated, all with very warm and cheerful colors.

Featuring a garden and views of river, casa montañista lodge & camping is a recently renovated country house set in Huaraz, 4.9 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa. In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.
