Being on the water really enhanced the Caribbean vibe. Mike and Sally have really put their efforts to work in the right places from the beautiful woodwork and comfortable furniture (bed was great!) to the surfing and water sport decor. Mike’s daily breakfast creation was very tasty and fresh. His past culinary experience and obvious knack shows. Sally was lovely and friendly; easy to chat with about activities, tips and any questions. She is a great ambassador for Bocas and its animals (Papa Gato Animal Welfare). As an added bonus to our stay, kayaks, bikes, paddle board and a spontaneous invite and boat ride to “The Floating Bar” with Mike. Overall, fantastic stay.

Set in Big Creek, 550 metres from Y Griega and 1.1 km from Istmito, Sol y Sombra offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Richard (and his dog Sombra :D ) were super friendly, helped us with everything and gave us great suggestions for tours, restaurants, beaches, … Rooms are very spacious and clean plus one can also get free towels for the pool and beach! Breakfast is a bit expensive but worth the money as there is a great variety and Richard even makes pancakes or eggs.

Located in Bocas Town, 120 metres from the beach and less than 1 km from Y Griega Beach, La Luciernaga Big Creek provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private... clean, organised, nice outdoor, very friendly owners, fantastic breakfast.

With sea views, RIVA B&B is situated Isla Carenero and has free WiFi. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Perfect stay, would definitely go back. Anna is a very welcoming host. It is quiet, delicious breakfast, sea stars and lots of fish right at your doorstep and only a short boatride from Isla Colon! We preferred staying on this island (Isla Carenero) - nice beaches in walking distance, good restaurants close by as well!

Set in Bluff Beach, 6 km from Bocas Town, Oasis Bluff Beach features unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. A beautiful eco hotel with a top notch staff and the best restaurant on the island! Wendy and Simon were fabulous! They arranged tours for us, showed us monkey and sloths and made us part of their family. We have been traveling for 3 months and this 8 day stay was the best so far because of the hospitality extended.

Located on Bocas del Toro, Barrbra BnB Over The Sea is a 2 story house built directly over the sea. The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Un loc din care nu ai mai vrea sa pleci. Locație la iesire din Bocas, atât de tihnita si de cu bun gust, cu angajați minunați, Reini si Sarah care au facut totul sa ne simtim minunat. Micul dejun proaspat si diversificat...delicios. Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast se găsește în Bocas Town, la 5 minute de mers pe jos de Istmito și la 1,8 km de Plaja Y Griega, și are unități de cazare cu WiFi gratuit, climatizare, biciclete gratuite și... The breakfast was really good, with many options. The location was perfect, 15min away from the airport and city center but easy to walk there, and secure. The room in itself was nice and clean. The host was adorable, always here to share her experience. It is also possible to use bikes and kayaks for free. Everything was perfect.

Located 2 miles from Bocas Town at the Y before Big Creek, Sand Dollar Beach features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. All rooms have balcony seating with views of the sea and gardens. Great staff. Big rooms. Great pool

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. Right place for spending fantastic holidays away from the crowds of Bocas del Toro. Nice, colorful clean rooms, view over the bay where you can see dolphins jumping. Brian and Amy are just marvelous hosts that offer very interesting tours (snorkeling, dolphin spotting etc.) at fair prices and excellent food (on a long table with the other guests). It is not only called Dolphin Bay, there are really a lot of those noble creatures, apart from sloths, frogs, humming birds etc. Highly recommendable if you look for sustainable tourism (no plastic, renewable energy and careful usage of water).
