We didn't meet Michelle, but felt very well her touch on everything. She took care about the smallest details, and in her absence she made her best to give us the feeling that she is there. The accommodation was spacious, clean, cosy and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay in The Gables and recommend it to travellers who are visiting Tongariro National Park and the area.

Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. A beautiful mountain stream runs through the B&B gardens, and you can often hear the calls of native birds Breakfast was in the frig; bacon,eggs, toast and fruit. Lovely, friendly hosts with beautiful gardens. Highly recommended.

Some units feature a dining area and/or a patio. Amazing location, clean and big apartment, great friendly host, everything. I have stayed here twice its amazing place to stay.

Ranfurly Cottage is located in the historic township of Raetihi. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a private bathroom with free toiletries. You can enjoy garden view from the room. Allison and Ron were such kind and lovely hosts. The space was very comfortable with two couches, a gas fire place which I loved sitting next to and reading a book, and a nice dining area. The bed and bathroom were great as well. It was a short trip to the national park for the alpine crossing. They very kindly gave me the fixings to make sandwiches for my hike the next day. If you're in this area, I highly recommend staying here.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful, quiet location. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Would def recommend.
