De ontvangst was erg relaxt en casual. De meneer die ons ontving maakte een leuk praatje en was heel vriendelijk. Dat zette al de sfeer. Het appartement zelf is ook super mooi en heeft een zwembad. Daarnaast ligt het verblijf ook nog eens pal naast Joe's beerhouse, echt geweldig. Wat ik bijna vergeet te zeggen is dat het appartement super schoon was en alle extra's bevatte die je nodig kan hebben: van wattenschijfjes tot wat spullen om te koken.

House on Olof Palme ligt in Windhoek en biedt een buitenbad dat het hele jaar door geopend is en uitzicht op het zwembad. Bij de accommodatie kunt u gratis privéparkeren. It felt like being at home. We were well taken care of. One of the best family-run places I have ever visited. Liked every small personalized touch including facilitating every single request we made. The rooms were super clean and spacious. The breakfast was awesome and the staff was professional and pleasant to be with.

We spent our first and last night in Namibia in this litte boutique hotel and do not regret it for a second. The rooms and bathrooms were big and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, good aircon and even a some complimentary port wine and chocolate to make sure you were in a good mood when it was time for bed. Breakfast was good, served at the table and with müsli and yoghurt, bread and cooked breakfast of your choice. There were some parking lots close to the rooms, inside the gates. Everyone in the staff was so nice and we felt very much at home. We do recommend this little hotel if you ever stay in Windhoek.

There was something for everyone at breakfast, and the made-to-order eggs and freshly-baked rolls were delicious. The pre-cut fruit had a variety of not-easy-to-find in Namibia treats. The hosts provided the perfect restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed the local food and wine. We appreciated the local tips and attractions. We even had three straight days of in-room massages to truly relax. This is a lovely property off the beaten path and wonderfully quiet.
