Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. I loved everything. We had an eleven-day scooter trip across the island, and Kirinda was our last stay before going home to Galle. The property is very well maintained; it looks new, minimalistic, and stylish. Everything was just perfect: the mattresses were super comfy, the AC worked properly, the shower was great, etc. But the main thing was the stuff and the food they cooked. I hadn't expected that I'd have one of the best dinners in five months in a place I had never heard of. Just spectacular!

Location was spectacular. Sustainability efforts are very good and commendable. Food was very delicious in the restaurant. Villas are beautifully maintained with spacious bathrooms. Bathtub has a wonderful view of the Tissamaharama lake. Pool in the villa is beautiful with ambience lighting in the evening. Villa was very clean and well maintained. We highly recommend Blue Wild Tissamaharama for anyone visiting Yala National Park for a safari, rest and relaxation. Great place for cycling around the lake..

Featuring garden views, Tribe Yala - Luxury Camping offers accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around 12 km from Tissa Wewa. This is a 5 star glamping experience located in the middle of the jungle. The room is well airconditioned, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had a lovely dinner under the stars. A delicious huge breakfast was brought over to our room in the morning. It was an experience using the jacuzzi in the wild too. We were given a complimentary early morning walk in the vicinity of the hotel. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw. The whole concept is eco-friendly. The ideal location to start from or end the day for a Yala safari tour. Certainly worth staying at.

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. A wonderful host set the tone for our great stay here. On checking in we were given a welcoming Coconut which was so refreshing after our trip from Ella. The room was clean and spacious with excellent air con. We enjoyed all meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast -during our brief stay. They arranged an excellent Yala National Park tour for us at an extremely competitive price. Our driver Alim was fantastic and made every effort to ensure that we got the best value for our day. Unlike some drivers in the park, he did not rush but made sure we experienced the best day possible. As so many other have commented the host took us to the bus station and made sure we got the correct bus for our forward journey to Matara. This is a terrific place to stay and made all the better by a host who has his customer's interest at heart. Thank you - Peter and Merlinda Miles

Spread across 2 acres of lakefront property, Wild Lotus Yala is set in a quiet rural village close to Yala National Park. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The staff goes above and beyond thank you Justin & team). The room was massive, felt like a house - beautiful decorated and comfortable. The pool was gorgeous. We had the best safari driver - thank you Nelson! Food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

The family is great! And they need your support and bookings to develop this magical place. I spend here 4 days and I wanted more. During my solo travel at the Christmas time. I was glad to share this moments with them. They are very helpful. And if you always dream to live in a tree house it’s a perfect place! Peaceful full of nature and really cozy.
