Host is a very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate, he helped us to book a safari. And of course it is very close to go to safari from here, only 15 minutes in the car, which will take you from hotel (and host will give you some snacks to go). Important to say that wi-fi and shower are perfect, which is not so easy to find on Sri-Lanka. Would definitely recommend!

Two very nice pools, a big garden and playground was great with small kids. The setting is very nice and lush. Also the restaurant on the premises was good and convenient. The staff was very nice. We did the afternoon safari which was very well arranged.

Had a great stay here! The hosts were wonderful - reaching out prior to our arrival to help coordinate transportation and a safari. Recommend staying for dinner, everything they prepared was delicious. Thank you!

Set within 8 km of Udawalawe National Park, The Elephant Next-Door in Udawalawe features a number of amenities including a garden. I highly recommend this place. It is located next to the Elephant 🐘 sanctuary and just few kilometres from the National Park of Udawalawe. The apartment was very spacious - it consists of 2 separated areas (living room + bedroom). We got a welcomed drink 🥥 and tiny gift when we were leaving. The accommodation was fully equipped.

Great bed with a mosquito net, fan, shower and awesome balcony to sit on and watch the elephants go by! We did the safari with them and loved it so much! Was such an amazing experience!
