Medalin Lake Gregory is a guest house situated in the Lake Gregory district of Nuwara Eliya. The Host was really nice. He was really dedicated for me to have a good time. He offered to arrange Tuk tuk drivers, that drive me around and show me nice waterfalls, viewing points and so on, for very reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the breakfast he offered for just a small price. The Room was very clean, very very cosy and it had a wonderful view over the lake and the Pidrutalagala Mountain. Definitely a recommendation!

It’s a unique property, just few steps away from all the buzz. Cabana is truly amazing, every little detail is thought through. Gorgeous bathroom, with bathtub overlooking the little town and the mountains. Facilities- top class! Better than some 5* Hotels. But all of that would be nothing, without amazing Host, who met us with a biggest smile and was there every time we needed something. Food set up, quality is out of this world. Araa and his mother are such great hosts and the kindest people ever. Room is clean, shower hot, blankets warm. Breakfast is local and very good. Mom prepared amazingly delicious dinner for us, probably the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Araa took us on tea factory & waterfalls tour for a good price and it was very enjoyable. He also went out of his way and picked us from some distant village where we got stuck after our train stopped. We felt like at our home and would definitely come back. :)
