Everything is new and clean. Tastefull modern/rustic design. By far the best place where I've stayed in Thailand in this price-range. Very friendly host. I will definetly come again when I'm in the area.

Set in Had Kham in Nong Khai Province, Wasuthan Garden House features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Our host Nick went out of his way to look after us. We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.

A small, friendly hotel. Many residents are long term, several months at a time. You can have interesting conversations. It's homely, relaxed and quiet. The owners are lovely people, and speak excellent English. It has offroad secure parking for cars and covered parking for motorcycles (limited number).

Located in the centre of Nong Khai City and beside the Mekong River, Mut Mee Garden Guest House is only a 5-minute walk from Tha Sadej Indochina Market. This is a quiet garden oasis right next to the river with a great restaurant and an amazing staff! I would definitely recommend. It was very peaceful. I felt like it was so easy here to take off my watch and disconnect from the world around and be fully present in the moment. It is also right next to the boardwalk which was great for an early morning run and easy access to town. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning! ♥️

Set within 1.6 km of Laos National Museum and 2.5 km of Wat Sisaket, ARTIST GOLDEN LOFT Paris - Vientiane Homestay offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vientiane. It was perfect for what I was looking for, quiet, comfortable, secure, close to the riverside and town centre (10 minute walk) and close to a gym. There is a coffee shop downstairs which has lovely food, coffee and other drinks. There is a seperate kitchen to cook some simple meals for yourself and a seperate lounge area which is very nice to sit around in. The apartment is very spacious. The owner let me check in early and was very helpful for any additional requests that I had. I ended up staying an extra week, I liked it that much.
