Located in the Gangwon Province, Heidi K. Haus offers accommodation with outdoor barbecue facilities, green lawns and children's playground. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. We stayed four nights, with day trips to the Gangchon Rail Park, Alpaca World, and Nami Island. This place was recommended by friends and I'm so glad we decided to stay here. John and his wife were really kind and took very good care of us. Rooms were clean and neat. Hot water flowed freely during bathtime and we drank cold water straight from the tap. For the most part, we felt like we were visiting grandparents who kept feeding us. We skipped the Vivaldi Ski Park only to discover Pallbong-san was closed for the winter, but John got us four gimbap, brought us to a nearby service road up a small peak, and sent us on a short hike (that incline!). We still got to muck around in the mud and leaves on the way up. Our sons (9 and 7) enjoyed the outdoors, helping John build campfires, playing with his wife's dog, and generally just running around the property screeching like banshees and dipping into John's store of firewood and kindling as he looked on indulgently (city kids don't get campfires much). The charcoal barbecue most reviews mention was a highlight, as was (for me anyway!!) cooking kimchi ramyeon with actual kimchi in a pot on a stove in a proper pension in the Korean countryside. I saved the receipt from our trip to the mart to buy ingredients too, it's going into my journal. Thank you John and Mrs Lee for your hospitality, we will not forget it. p/s For runners, there's a short out and back - just follow the pavement that starts at one of the roads in front of the property (the road after the tunnel, you'll see when you get there) to the end. A round trip took us about 40+ minutes? We called it 6plus-7km. A pleasant enough route.

Terrace on the Cloud is located in Daegwallyeong and offers self-catering units with a terrace and free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available each morning at the holiday home. We loved our 4 night stay! Howard made himself available any time we needed something, and the breakfast materials every day enhanced our stay. We would highly recommend staying here if tou want to fisit the beach or mountains, Terrace on the Cloud is convenient to both.

Ubytovanie Casa Seorak Bed and Breakfast sa nachádza 2,1 km od miesta Pláž Mulchi Beach. Ide o ubytovanie s klimatizáciou a balkónom. I felt welcome here from the first minute and could explore the city, mountains and local dishes thanks to the good recommendations of the host. The host ist really kind and helpful and speaks English well. The location of the guesthouse is between the city and Seoraksan National Park but in a quiet rural area. The next bus stop is in walking distance. I really liked the room and the view from the balcony. Breakfast was great and brought to the room. I would have enjoyed it to stay longer.

Ubytovanie Sokcho Summitbay 1701 "Ocean View" sa nachádza niekoľko krokov od miesta Pláž Lighthouse Beach. Ide o ubytovanie s klimatizáciou a balkónom. The location is great, just a minute walk to the beach. The view, especially sunrise, was incredible. The studio is on the 17th of 20 floors. The studio has a full-size refrigerator and stove top. There was also a microwave. The big washer and dryer in the room was a big plus. I used Google translate to figure out the settings with no problem. There is a 7/11 attached to the building. There are many restaurants within a short walk. There is a bus stop about a 1 minute walk.

Ubytovanie Fine and You Ocean City sa nachádza v destinácii Donghae 2 min. chôdze od miesta Pláž Hanseom Beach, menej ako 1 km od miesta Pláž Gamchu Beach a 8 min. chôdze od miesta Donghae City Hall. Great small apartment right near the beach and 3 blocks from busy town area. You can cook and do laundry in the room and the hotel also has great coin laundry. The renter was quick to answer all our calls and concerns. I could rave about the beach boardwalk at night too. It helps to speak Korean at the local restaurants.
