There were city maps ( not all places provide these ) and other info available & a great collection of books to browse through re: sights of Palermo. Breakfast outside on the terrace was amazing with a vast choice of drinks, sweet & savoury items which was individually prepared for you.

Alessandra was very helpful and made the check-in process very easy, we arrived earlier than the normal check-in time, which was not a problem. The bedroom & bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. Due to the age of the building and its location in the city of Catania, it is impossible to block out all the noise but in my opinion, the building's character and central location for sightseeing were a good compromise.
