Located in Patreksfjörður, in a historic building, 23 km from Pollurinn, Pálshús is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. It's literally perfect despite having just one shower in a shared bathroom for 5 rooms. Great value, would book again.

Situated in Flateyri, in a historic building, 21 km from Pollurinn Hot Spring, The Old Bookstore is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge. If you are looking for a lovely stay in a cosy home - this is it. The owners did a magnificent job mainting and highlighting the spirit of an old Islandic home resulting in an incredibly warm and fascinating atmosphere. Nevertheless, modern amenities such as a electric stove are well integrated into this home. In two weeks of vaccation in Iceland this was the most comfortable bed we had.

Kirkjufell central apartment is located in Grundarfjordur. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Beautiful, modern, spacious apartment. It is very well equipped and there was even a supply of basics (oil, pasta, etc) that I assume had been left behind by other renters. There were a couple of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Icelandic Lake House is situated in Akranes. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

The place is amazing. Idyllic for a couple, a tip would be to buy food beforehand and use the grill provided at the place. The surroundings are lovely and the place is super cosy. Hot tub was great too. Also, very clean place and well equipped! Great to relax and unwind!

Situated in Snæfellsbær in the West Iceland region, Nátthagi Luxury Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain and lake views. The cottage was lovely, it had everything we needed, was super comfy and had great views.

Located in Kaldrananes, Hvammur 3 Hrakhólar with private hot tub offers an open-air bath, a garden and a barbecue. The property has river and garden views. We loved this beautifully spacious, well maintained cottage. The kitchen was great. The hot tub was lovey to relax in on our arrival. The owners had it full for us. We would have loved to stay longer.
