Everything about El Esquileo is to be liked, from the moment I entered in contact with their management to the moment we left. They make you feel like home at all times. The building is in a premium location yet could not be quieter, which is really appreciated qhen you're coming to rest. It is nicely decorated, it looks like recently renovated, with a lot of taste. We were in a room with jacuzzi,.We were delighted and we will come back. I recommend this place with my eyes closed.

Casa de huéspedes Villa de las Hortensias is set in Bustarviejo and features a terrace. The property features mountain and garden views. The homestay has family rooms. Anne is a wonderful host and a great person, nice and warm. She is friendly and always trying to help. The room, bathroom (shared) and the entire house are spotless, nice and cozy, with everything that is needed for a comfortable and nice stay. The location is amazing, a beautiful village in the mountains. I recommend Anne's place with all my heart. Thank you, dear Anne! :)

A very cool place in the middle of the tiny mountainous village of Hiruela, north of Madrid. We are a couple and we had the entire house to ourselves, two floors, two bedrooms, a fireplace, a kitchen, a washing machine and so on. It's a renovated village house that is modern and comfortable with a lot of special character. This was probably the coolest place we've stayed in Spain, initially we planned to stay for one night, but after arriving decided to book another night so can fully enjoy the place. There are few short walks around the village and I did several of them, the nicest one was through the forest and valley/stream beneath the village. It was so small, and maybe because of the pandemic everything was closed, no restaurants or shops, so we had to come with our own supplies but that's not a problem. There were two adorable village dogs that came along with us to the walks, and stayed outside our house waiting for us, which was really fun because we love dogs. The hostess was super friendly, didnt speak English but waited for us in the pouring rain when we came in the evening, and after that we communicated by writing (using google translate), she provided us with timber for the fireplace and was very helpful.
