We loved staying by the pool with our little one, breakfast and dinner were always very good (and actually the best food we had in Gran Canaria to be honest). The staff was very gentle with us and our son. The guy by the pool was also adorable, always bringing toys to the kids, he's doing a great job there, I hope this is recognized! The sports room is also well equipped, everything you need to exercise a few times during your holidays (I would just remove the ambient spray that was quite strong and not needed, especially when you are exercising...)

If walk out of apartments and go down the hill to the left brings you to the beach 😁

A recently renovated property, Avatar Las Canteras is situated in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria near Las Canteras Beach, Las Alcaravaneras and Parque de Santa Catalina. It is located 2.5 km from Playa del Confital and features a lift. Poema Del Mar Aquarium is 1.2 km from the apartment and Port of Las Palmas is 5.3 km away. Of course, I didn't read my mobile messages to get the key code. but it didn't matter. A kind staff member helped sort that out quickly. The apartment was sparkling clean and looked brand new. A pizza restaurant was ten steps away, nearby a shop selling large water containers, and two local supermarkets a hundred meters away. Importantly, the sea front and beach was a short stroll away. A ten minute walk got us to Santa Catalina bus station where almost every bus went to San Telmo, the big shops and the old town.
