Great location on a quiet street close to downtown Mindelo. The owners are gracious and lovely people. Comfortable room, attentive staff, excellent breakfasts (two kinds of cheese and bread, fruit and yogurt, bacon and eggs) and plunge pool. City beach about a ten minute walk.

Casa JPi is located on the seafront in São Pedro, 100 metres from Sao Pedro Beach and 12 km from Torre de Belem. If we knew our experience will be as great, we would definitely book for a longer stay! The village is still so authentic and very safe. We love the warmth, pureness and privacy the JP and his team offer. There is only 3 rooms in the house which allows for the quiet and homy feeling. We were lucky to have the room with the balcony which offers the best possible view. All the furniture and equipment is modern and well taken care of. The water is really warm (not always the case in Cabo Verde). We very much enjoyed the home made breakfasts and dinners. Will miss the very special marmalade, cakes, punch and the chats with the team and the guests we met! We wish you a wonderful stay and hope to be back too!

Boasting a bar and views of city, Casa Bom Dia is a recently renovated guest house situated in Mindelo, 1.6 km from Praia Da Laginha. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.... Everything! The owners are really nice. They even prepared us a lunch package early in the morning, because we couldnt have breakfast with them as we had to leave very early.

Located within 400 metres of Praia Da Laginha and 1.9 km of Torre de Belem, Private Apartament Celestina & Carlos offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mindelo. everything. best accommodation that we stayed in with nicest and most helpful owners ever!!! celestina and carlos, thank you for everything. the best of cabo verdian hospitality :-) carlos came to pick us up from the port (for free), celestina served us some delicious grogue and cake. they also organized a turtle tour for us and carlos drove us there and waited for us, as well as giving us a full tour of the island in his car :-). the last day they both drove us to the airport at 6 am to say goodbye. and they recommended an excellent restaurant with live music (metalo) and other activieties. excellent hospitality, we will be back for sure! The apartment is super new, super clean, with eveyrthing that you need, air conditioning, washing machine, all kitchen utensils, really nice shower with unlimited hot water. celestina left us really delicous breakfast (local jams, bread, ham, cheese...), fruit and juices for the duration of our stay. beach towels were provided too -- they really thought of every single detail :-). the apartment is in a nice, safe neighbourhood 5 min walk away from the main city beach, which for us was the most beautiful beach on the island, safe for swimming, many restaurants (some other beaches had too many waves and were unsafe for swimming, plus this city beach had the most amazing blue colour of the water). there are numerous restaurants within like 5min walk from the apartment. you can also walk to the city centre (like 15 min walk to the main square). i wish i could give more than 10, because they trully deserve it!

Set in Mindelo, Apartamento Sta. Filomena is a recently renovated accommodation, 2.7 km from Torre de Belem and 2.7 km from Capvertdesign Artesanato. We did not have a very good stay but the owners were very reactive to resolve everything. I am sure they will make the necessary improvements in the future. The apartment itself is great.

Set in Mindelo, 700 metres from Praia Da Laginha and 2.4 km from Torre de Belem, Filomena Apartments LUXURY offers air conditioning. First of all the view to the sea is amazing. The apartment is new and well equipped. We had some minor issues (because it is a new building) during our stay, but the owner came and quickly made improvements. Owner was friendly and did everything he could that our stay would be pleasant. He gave some good tips of restaurants and other places we should visit.
