Situated in Portela in the Fogo region, Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura features a garden. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. Everything - Jose was interesting and interested. Food was good and plentiful, bed was comfortable. Set up was beautiful and fitted into the surroundings wonderfully. Would highly recommend

Situata a Portela, Casa Helena offre un ristorante, un bar e un giardino. La struttura propone intrattenimento serale e il servizio in camera. Tutte le camere sono dotate di balcone. The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Affacciato sulla città, il Ciza e Rose in Portela offre un bar, un salone in comune, un giardino e una terrazza. La connessione WiFi è gratuita. Of course, the Guesthouse is not comparable to a 3Stars hotel but when you come to this kind of place, Ciza e Rose is exactly the kind of Guesthouse you expect! Rose was born here, he is the right man at the right place and his family is very nice. Rose can speak many languages, including french. The rooms are simple but have all you need. They are big, quiet and all around a patio. Board games are available and we could play Awale and learn a new way to play with Michael, the son. The breakfast was really good and a bit different each day, with cakes... We got a lot of explanations from Rose, who is also a guide if you need. Communication was really easy with them, even before arriving. A "collectivos" picked us up at the airport and Rose organized another one to drop us to Sao Filipe. We eat at the Guesthouse in the evenings. At midday, we went several times to Isabel Restaurant ( actually Isabel is Rose's sister but we didn't know it the first time!). By the way, Rose has 6 brothers/sisters at Portela.

Leticia è stata adorabile dal primo all'ultimo secondo, ci ha accolto benissimo e ci ha aiutato sia nel trovare una guida per il trekking al vulcano, sia nel risolvere piccoli imprevisti. La cucina di Letizia poi è davvero fantastica, fatta di ricette locali veramente saporite. Anche Alcindo sembra davvero una bella persona, ci ha raccontato la sua storia che poi è anche la storia del villaggio. Un posto magico!

Pensao Zé Doce is situated in Portela and offers a garden and a bar. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We took room with bathroom and shower. Room was absolutely amazing. José was there for all our needs. He is a man with golden heart for people. He also guided us to Pico. I highly recommend

Pipi's Guest House, featuring a garden, a terrace and a bar, is located in São Filipe, 2.4 km from Sao Filipe Beach. At the bed and breakfast, every unit comes with a wardrobe. This was exactly what I needed a tranquil, beautiful tropical paradise getaway just far enough from the city to enjoy a peaceful day and night but close enough to everything. The airport is right there so perfect place to get your rest during your Cabo Verde getaway. Pipi and her family are a true blessing and are the best hosts I've encountered in a long time. As a frequent traveler I cannot say enough about how great this place was. Pool was the perfect size to cool off. The food was amazing. Cocktails were delicious. The room was spacious and super clean. Comfy bed, large shower (hot water). I could go on and on but words aren't enough. Go there check it out for yourself you will not regret it.

Casa Ze & sonia is situated in Portela. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

EcoFunco is situated in Portela. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with a wardrobe. We loved our stay at EcoFunco. The funco is very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. You barely hear any noise so we had a great night sleep after our hike. The breakfast served by Isabel was delicious and very filling. The funco was spotless clean. Léa & João were super friendly and gave us a lot of tips about the hikes we could do in the area. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day.

Situato a Igreja, il Gira Lua offre un ristorante, un bar, un salone in comune e la connessione WiFi gratuita. Sistemazione con vista sulle montagne e patio. After the beautiful down hike from Portela we were very tired and we're welcomed with cold drinks. After that we had a very lovely paella and went to sleep in our comfortable room. We had a very good and quite 11 hours sleep. Breakfast was very tasty and enough. Beautiful location overseeing the coastline.

Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.
