49 km from Barra Honda National Park in Sámara, Residencias Samara provides accommodation with access to wellness packages. It is set 400 metres from Samara Beach and offers luggage storage space. Lovely boutique style accommodation which had a small but adequate pool and beds and seating in the pool area. The accommodation comprises of apartments which are spotlessly clean and very functional. The property is very secure and has some parking. Perfectly located with just a good 5 minute walk total the beach. Accommodation was perfect and Samara is lovely.

46 km from Barra Honda National Park, Eco-Turismo Guayacanes is a recently renovated property situated in Sámara and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The place is beautiful. The lodges are very well equipped and clean. Nice swimming pool. Quiet place and adorable owner.

The location is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are really lovely and good sized. The photos don't do this place justice! Sergio and Mileidy are fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough to help (e.g. arranging taxis etc. for me as I didn't have a car). The food was exceptional - breakfast and dinner were delicious, creative and beautifully presented and they had decent wine and beer available if you want it.

Casa Papito is situated in Playa Potrero, Guanacaste and each suite offers a private terrace and a kitchen. It provides free WiFi and a garden with swimming pool. No words can describe this place but even less when you talk about the owners! So many travels on my back but never seen something via booking as overwhelming as casa, papito price/quality. Every detail is there. Pool is senseless Loft is amacing Decoration is top Charlote and Daniel are both superclass!

They've done a wonderful job with this property! This was our 8th accommodation on this trip to Costa Rica, and it had the best of all worlds. Quiet enough to feel remote, but connected to groceries, gas, and services in town. Fantastic A/C in the common space and both bedrooms. A thorough cleaning job, enough towels for a family of 4 (including pool towels), and a very well-equipped kitchen. The owners were so kind to accommodate early check-in so that our young daughters could get settled; they even brought them a high chair and kids' chairs, which they adored! The view from the pool is gorgeous and we appreciated the little outdoor gym, too. We watched the cleaning team wipe down outdoor railings and dust off loungers. They're clearly taking pride in keeping this place up. We would definitely stay again!

The tropical garden at the bed and breakfast is delightful. We enjoyed Marita's wonderful breakfast as we gazed over beautiful foliage and bird-watched. The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.
