With the free upgrade, I had a large room with two beautiful kang beds. The room was extremely clean. It was wonderful to have such an authentic experience, with traditional furniture and even a wooden door that locks with padlock and key. Both heating and aircon ensured my comfort, the water was hot and the guesthouse owner was very kind. It's also in a fantastic location.

Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.

Datong Antik Kenti'nde yer alan Datong Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard, Huayan Tapınağı'na ve Dokuz Ejderha Duvarı'na 5 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir. Peaceful and quiet, the owners were lovely, and you could tell they kept pride in their place. The meals were great especially the noodles. Enjoyed breakfast which was a mix of sweet potatoes, vegetables, dumplings, sausage. The area had plenty of food around it and a short walk to the wall and ancient drum. Found out by guide the whole town is a replica made a decade ago, even the wall.

The owners are extremely friendly and they speak English fantastically. The hotel itself looks like out of a movie, its inner courtyard s were beautiful. My room with a huge Kang bed was just incredible; I also liked the touch with the many plants in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Such a wonderful place. The rooms and the courtyard are so beautiful and cozy. The owner is very friendly and helpful. And there is free bottled water in the fridge, which is very convenient.
