Situated 2.5 km from Gubei Water Town in Miyun and Simatai Great Wall, 20 km from Jinshanling Great Wall, Jumanyuan House features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. DONT EVENT THINK TWICE - THIS IS THE BEST HOTEL OF ALL THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA!!!!!! This place is one of the best places arruine the world, Quing-lee the Host is an amazing GUY he recieved us very well he trates us like KINGS. ADVICES: First take the Shuttel bus from Dongzhimen that drops you in GOUBEI Ester town Save like 4 hours at léast to explore the town! You can explore the town see the Drone show at 7 pm night take AMAZING PICTURES and then call the HOST for pick up he will charge you 20 yuan. He Can give you an Incredible Dinner for 50 yuan and you can sleep there with very hoy water. Wake up Early next day and go to JINSHANGLING this is the best place better than goubei or Goubeikou. He will drop you there and pick you up at any time you want for 200 yuan the whole car. The host are amazing treat them well everything is super clean! He even Run with us to take the bus to go back to Beijing he is like Family! The best part of our stay in All Beijing !! Good luck any doubt @ndtravel.oficial

The hosts are very nice and the apartment is beautiful and very clean! The bed room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The location is great with 2 underground lines less than 5 minutes walking distance.

High quality room with excellent English comms. We have just enjoyed 2 nights here during May 2022. Pros are: 1) Excellent communication with Ellie by wechat before and during the trip. She can arrange transport for you to Panlongshan section of the Wall for 100rmb round trip. Any questions you have she will promptly reply. 2) Watertown tickets (2) were included in the room price and the car to go there and pick you up later. Very convenient and saves you money! 3) Delicious breakfast especially French toast, fresh coffee. Fresh baked rolls..We ate breakfast in the adjoining breakfast room which is nicely furnished. 4) Ellie kindly upgraded my room.Comfortable room (four poster bed) with ensuite bath (powerful water tap in bath. Also large separate shower head).. Good quality toiletries. Bathrobes. Aircon /heater in room. Living room - adequate size but be aware that it's a shared living room amongst 3 rooms in the Villa. Luckily we were the only people staying there that weekend so had it to ourselves. 5) Excellent, helpful staff working there - Linan speaks English. 6) Relaxing seating area on the deck outside. A barbecue too but we didn't use it. 7) i put in a special request for a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The lady there, I forgot her name, made a delicious cheesecake. Thank you. Cons No cons. Special notes. We visited during the covid testing period in Beijing and also when dine-in restaurants were prohibited. Please do not let that deter you from visiting because you can easily order takeaway food (staff will help you order it) and eat it in your Villa. Also you can do your 48 hour covid (NAT) test before you leave central Beijing and stay there 1 night and still get back to Beijing central. Hospitality venues like this Villa need tourists to visit so we should try and support them. We got the minibus from Watertown (departs 1200, 1700) to Dongzhimen Beijing cost 48 rmb per person NOTE you pay on the bus.

Lilly and Yang the hosts of this wonderful property are two of the nicest people we have ever met. Everyone one of us felt so welcome and really felt like home, we could not have asked for more, everything was perfect. I wish I could go there every night for dinner the food was delicious, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the location is absolutely perfect for the wall.

The village is a award winning model village. The home stay is comfortable and home cooked foods is good.

Located in Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Wangshanyuan Homestay offers affordable accommodation and free WiFi in all areas. Free parking is available on site. Great rooms. Amazing food. Loved the views and how close we were to the Great Wall.

Only a 10-minute walk from Badaling Great Wall and a 5-minute stroll from Badaling Railway Station, Beijing Badaling Great Wall Cao’s Courtyard Hostel is a 200-year-old traditional Chinese-style... Great Location, close to the China Great Wall main Entrance. David (our Host) was amazing, he speaks very good English and helped us with whatever we needed there. We enjoyed our Stay there and will stay definately once again with him. Room was clean and very cheap

My wife and I were visiting Beijing and were a little nervous about taking a group tour of the Great Wall. We had read about tourists being pressured to buy things or bus stops involving tea ceremonies that waste half the day. Fortunately we read the reviews for the Flower Yard and followed the advice. This is a small hotel on the outskirts of the Beijing, literally a stones throw from the wall itself. They have their own private shuttle service. The owners welcomed us warmly which was much appreciated. They have a daughter about 4 or 5yrs old named Beth. Beth was the life of the party. I think my wife enjoyed her as much as the visit to the Great Wall. The food was good and it didn’t matter that we don’t speak Mandarin as the menu had a photo besides everything we ordered. The atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Luckily English was spoken at the hotel which really surprised us considering the Flower Yard isn’t a major hotel in the big city. Our room had Oriental furniture and we later learned Tony the owner, was a local artist and had painted the pictures on the wall. The bed had a thin mattress on a firm board. I’ve never slept on one before and can honestly say I got a great nights sleep.
